I enjoyed the s links in p4, but I can't really think of one that just springs to mind as being extremely standout. I feel like after persona 3 then this, the social links just became too predictable in pattern. Start with some sort of internal conflict, slowly build it up, stuff happens. Resolve conflict around rank 8 or 9. If it's a female throw in a romancing option. Rank 10 "I'm so much happier now, and it's all thanks to you!". I just hope that for p5 they go have more variety in their structure,  instead of confining everything to such a rigid path. Break one rank up into two segments. Solve the conflict earlier, only to have another conflict arise. I don't know. That along with more story impact.

yeah i enjoyed P3's social links more, especially tanaka, the old monk and the mmorpg hermit link.  with that said kanji's link was the best in P4.

Chie was pretty much the only one that wasn't a huge bummer most of the time. So, that one.

You know what? I'm gonna go with Yosuke. I found it the most relatable somehow, and I like Yosuke's character. A lot of times he says things without thinking and comes off as a jerk, but beneath that he seems like he would be a really loyal friend.

It's a tough choice, but I went with Nanako. Her Social Link was so well done, and it's impossible not to care for her. I would probably put Yosuke and Ai next after Nanako.

Dojima for me, just because I hated him so much until the end of that S-link. I thought it was cool they made me do a complete 180 on him.

I voted for Tutored Student because he is my second favourite and Yumi isn't in the list.

Fool, because it's too hard to choose an individual one and I loved that the team as a whole actually had its own relationship and I liked seeing that chemistry progress.

Justice(Nanako) and Heirophant(Dojima). Maybe Kanji. Didn't like the rest all that much, I prefer P3's Social Links by far.

Nanako, it made me go "awwwww".

I liked Naoto's the most, solving riddles, answering questions that required you to recall what was said in previous parts like Naoto liking high places when she was a kid. It just seemed more involved than most of the others. Runners up would be Nanako and Ai. Ai's was pretty good, the friendship path is the one I went with and enjoyed it a lot. Most of the SLinks that were not your party members were not very good though. Kind of the opposite of P3, in P3 hanging out with the monk, dying guy and others was fun, but hanging out with Mitsuru, Fuuka and Yukari was horrible.

I wish when you had both Kanji and Naoto's S-Links at 10, you could persuade Naoto to go out with Kanji.  Or play Cyrano for Kanji, and whisper the right things to say.  Because otherwise he'll just demand to be made a man and threaten her with bending.

Naoto - just because it was so different, wasn't so mopey. Was a real twist on the whole "this is why my life sucks, please let me get over it" drama a lot of the other characters had.
Kanji was pretty good for similar reasons, could write a blog about his character on its own if I wanted to really.
Chie was a great character but I'm not sure if her social link was always that good... not so memorable anyway. Ai was also okay I think, Shu too since his S Link had some unexpected moments.
 
I think I'm preferring P3's social links more so far though. For a game that much darker than P4 it's surprising how much funnier and laid back some of the Social Link scenes can be.

The nurse one was hilarious when she raped you but got all heavy and boring after that.

I always liked Chariot, Emperor, Lovers, Death, Hanged Man and Moon. I have a hard time picking a favorite.
 
I always go with Ayane because I heard in advance that Yumi became annoying later. Also because I couldn't find the drama club on my first playthrough to take a tour (practice building storage room).

I find Naoto's the most interesting but I for some reason liked the Tower (damn kid at tutoring) the most, reason being I didn't like him to begin with but I ended up enjoying his story and I liked the ending, I thought it was great.

  Wait... she had alzheimer's? Her memory seemed fine to me, although maybe mine's not.  Although I like most of the S. Links, I voted for Margaret (Empress) for showing her silly side, and for that endgame kiss :P Even if it wasn't exactly my favorite.  I think the Temperance (Step-mom) needs an honorable mention for covering an issue rarely discussed in video games. "

Nanako for me.

It is pretty close between Kanji's S. Link and Ai's. Both had a really satisfying progression and I thought they both developed really well as characters throughout the entire S. Link.

Naoto's was the most interesting in my opinion. Not as good as P3 Hermit, though.

Naoto, though Rise is a close second for me.  I just really liked both of their characters a lot.

Can't decide for Persona 4. As for P3, Akinari Kamiki, the Dying Young Man/Sun Arcana. Hands down.

Dojima. His and Nanako's social links almost made me tear up.

Dojima's was awesome. But Naoto's was my favorite.

Yosuke's cause you can beat the crap outta him :)

i liked the hierophant because goddamnit dojima is awesome. if they made a terrible spinoff shooter where you played dojima as he took no shit and shot criminals in the face i would buy it and never regret it.
