So, I'm sure this has already been asked before, but does anybody know what the chances are of Persona 4 seeing a PSN release in light of the recent addition of Persona 3: FES? I know that Sony probably wants to push sales of Persona 4 on the Vita, but do you guys think I'll ever be able to play the PS2 version of the game on my non-backwards compatible PS3 in any capacity? Aside from the DS Lite, I generally dislike handhelds and I have absolutely zero interest in ever purchasing a Vita.

They won't canabilize the Vita sales. If they were to release it they would so well after the Vita version, just like Persona 3 FES was released way after P3P.

I agree with what everyone else is saying. They'll wait a while after Golden comes out and then probably put it up.

How much of a gap was there between P3P and Persona 3: FES going up last week? I'm trying to get a sense of how long I may have to end up waiting. Of course, what really bums me out about all of this is that I actually used to have a perfectly good copy of Persona 4 and a 60 gig PS3 to run it on, but the freaking thing got the YLOD on me before I ever got around to playing it.

@Jrinswand: I have to question your judgement in thinking that it wouldn't be confusing to title a thread so bluntly as though it were an announcement when it's nothing of the sort.

I don't think the PS2 version of P4 will even get put on PSN because of The Golden. Although I would have said the same thing about P3 around the time P3P was coming out, so who knows.

Meh, there's always the PS4.
