Still listening through this bombcast, obviously, but it kind of bothers me that they talk up Magicka's magic system of combining spells and creating different effects however you like, when that seems to essentially be the one trick of that entire game, when Two Worlds II has a magic system precisely like that, with tons of possible combinations of spells and effects, in a much larger and broader game, and sadly that game has gone entirely ignored by the GB crew.

I demand we make like Egypt and overthrow the long-ruling and harsh dictator named RYAN DAVIS!

For 3v3 in Pokemon B&W, you can shuffle dudes during a 3v3, it takes a turn I believe, but you'll see two dudes switch with each other.
 
Also cool thing about Pokemon B&W, the Unova region is based off of NYC. Each of the previous 4 regions was based on an actual region in Japan, but this recent one, they wanted a full...revival (?) I guess, so they set it in NYC.

WTF is wrong with the jav gun? I thought it was the shit. It stabs dude, electrifies them, and when you fully upgrade it it explodes at the end. Didn't have a problem with inventory management neither. Picked up something I didn't use I either put it in my safe at a store or sold it and boom hey more money time to buy some more ammo for a weapon I do use or some power nodes. Man I love some Dead Space 2 I am trying to figure out if I should try and tackle hardcore mode.

Like most reasonable people, I believe the NDX descent into madness is fictional. However, I believe his foisting of it upon the others is very real. Brad sounded genuinely annoyed there. It's less like a wrestling storyline and more like performance art at this point.

I miss pokemon blue.  I never bothered with catching all the pokemon.  not even close.  I would catch like 30 something over the course of the game and play most of it with hypno using hypnosis + dream eater over and over.

Sometimes I want to punch Jeff in the face when he tries to min max a game and therefore has these super ridiculous criticisms of it.

OH!  I wasn't aware there was a piece AFTER the credits.  Well, THAT was interesting to hear.  Definitely looking forward to Dead Space 3!

I just finished listening to this. I can definitely see why this is only the #6 video games podcast. Passable but not great. The new releases section was very lacking.

I listened to the entire discussion about MMOs, pricing models, etc., and I just have to say... someone in the Giant Bomb crew needs to download Lord of the Rings Online. Since going hybrid free-to-play, it's pretty much everything they were suggesting. I'd like to hear their thoughts on it.

APB had the perfect MMO model if you ask me. If you buy the game you get 20 hours of connected time. You always had access to the social zones that didn't eat up that 20 hour time. From that point you could choose to pay monthly. It seems like everything Vinny was talking about.
 
The reason APB closed down was not due to that model and say what you want about the game but personally I think the game it self was amazing.
