Folks, we've had a lot of interesting discussions on the forums and elsewhere about current events over the last couple of days, and I'm sure the comments here might get lively. By and large most of you have been civil to each other, and I'm certainly hopeful that that is the case here. But if you feel the need to be super sarcastic or dismissive about current events, please just don't post at at all.

As a refresher on the community rules: "The primary rule here is: don't be a jerk. Looking forward to hearing the team talk about the things that need to be talked about.

Sharing life experiences to an audience of thousands, if not millions, is an action that requires courage regardless of its content. I wish to thank everyone on the Bombcast for sharing a portion of their life so that I may endeavor to be a better person tomorrow.

Always wonderful to hear Austin's voice on GB, and I'm always happy when Vinny drops by. Thanks to GB for being clear on your stances, and for taking time on the show to talk about current events. Sucks that this is where we have to be, but it's good to see so many people being especially vocal right now.

In other news, I'm kinda into this wild tile shuffling that the call issues caused for the first few minutes - I'm sure it's a pain on the production end but it was kinda fun to watch.

Thank you, as silly and trivial as this medium can be you guys have a voice and I'm glad you're using it.

I haven't listened yet, but I appreciate the GB crew being clear and vocal in their support of BLM over the past few days. It's always nice to know creators you like are on the right side of things.

I realize as a business, especially in an industry that can have a toxic following, it takes some courage to risk losing those dollars. But I for one appreciate the business that take a stand and say those are not the individuals they want to have support them. Also thank you for the countless hours of content. During these dark times, it really is one of the few things keeping me sane. Much love to the entire crew!!!

It must be exhausting for Austin: being one of the few prominent black voices in game journalism talking to a predominantly-white audience. I appreciate the effort he goes through to still reach out to the community during times like these.
