You get over the appeal of driving stick shift quickly. It's fun to learn and at first, but then after a while it just gets annoying.

Yes, that was modern Alice in Chains. As a big fan of the band from grade and high school, back in the day when their original lineup was doing stuff, and as someone who doesn't listen to a ton of super hard rock anymore, I've been kind of getting into new Alice in Chains stuff recently. They do some fun things. A bit of filler, but some stuff that's legitimately good. I kind of wish they'd do something more like Sap or Jar of Flies in their current iteration.

@fledeye: It made the stream unlistenable for me, tbh. She's either never heard of actors, doesn't know their movies, or needs Vinny to IMDB what the name of a movie is (when the entire point of that game is being able to name movies and actors in them.)

I drive a stick shift and love it, but I live in a rural area and don't have to deal with heavy traffic much. I'm not sure I would love it as much if I had to do it in NYC.

@mistergrieves: As a person who drove a stick Honda to Atlanta, it was fun until I hit Atlanta, then it was a literal nightmare with the stop and go traffic. Still love driving manual here in the rural counties though.

@alex - Probably more of a regional pronunciation, but as a resident in western Oregon, it generally gets pronounced wil-lam-ett instead of wil-ah-met. Feel free to dismiss if you don't care that much.

I wished they'd do more with this setup and the wheel. Like a series where they play driving games.

I play this game along with ETS II exclusively on my Oculus. It's just a great way to chill out. Added my favorite radio stations to the list. Installed several mods, including the awesome ProMod for ETS which you can buy for like 2 dollars and adds a ton of content. I don't care about playing the actual game, like hauling shit or whatever, I just wanna drive and enjoy the scenery and music. Reminds me of the time when I was a teen and played Cruis'n USA.
