I am thinking more and more about playing the game. I've never really considered this a game I would play (brawler and such) but as a package it is really grabbing me. A little redundant to say at this point it has depth, but it does. Watching these three guys work their way through is great, also. Very entertaining.

Same here. Really good stuff. I wouldn't at all mind replacing a few Fridays' premium streams with more of these videos.

@jehull: I do, but people who have played the game know what I am talking about and there is no point in spoiling it for those who haven`t. That theme of how murder changes you are there either way (though it`s mostly in that arena speech I guess.)

@iwashcroft: It`s so easy to avoid Mr. Shakedown though because he is so slow and easy to spot (especially with the encounter radar) that you will never fight him unless you want to. So there is no need to have the plates as insurance.

Seriously though, Yuki is probably the mostly likeable. Etsuko's Talk stat. is pretty handy though.

Just wanna say, this is the best thing on Giant Bomb right now.

suggestion: just use medicine in fights, and stop by restaurants to restore your health when you're just running around. It is more effective and can initiate some sub stories.

Popcorn with every episode, this some good watching.

Keep fighting, oh the knife has 3 different moves, one when you draw it out, one when they are standing in front of you close and finally one when opponent is near a wall.

Majima's standing knife is the best.

I actually agree. I like Ai, but the interactions with Yuki made me enjoy her weird personality more. That and the way she exclaims "urashii-desu!" during the cabaret club mini-game.

But the real controversy is what the hell is up with Dolly's outfit! I wanted to change it so bad.

Eat at more restaurants! Half the fun of getting beat up is eating at all the great restaurants, some of which are actual places in Japan.

You guys probably won't get to see Majima's best heat moves, as they're exclusive to his hidden style, which is a pain in the ass to get. It would take...probably something like six episodes dedicated to unlocking it. But I would definitely watch a video when the game is done.

Has anyone mentioned here yet that you can't change outfits until you've beaten the game and unlocked "premium adventure mode?" Keeps coming up at those shrine visits.
