Sounds like SOMEONE didn't grow up in the 8 bit era. Y'all don't know how good we got it.

Buying first day. As in tomorrow here. The multiplayer demo has been a ton of fun once i got the hang of it, and i want more.

apparently bionic commando is a game, it has combat and sometimes with guns.  Not sold.  If there are no more positives at least give some more negatives.

well good for you then go buy it but dont complain about people not liking the game it has nothing to do with some of us not old enough to either play or remember the 8-bit days i was born with a sega and grew up on amiga and comador 64 but that dont make me run out and buy every game because you thing we are to lucky to complain a little
we have standards if we diddent we were all still playing 8-bit

@Artie: I really like the tone of this review. It's funny in contrast to the 'normal' Jeff. Also, proffesionality is a good thing to have sometimes.

I love when reviewers have a great sense of humor and dosent try to become professional because once they become professional, it also becomes boring, and just another standard review. Thats why fifty cent's BOTS is my favorite review.

i duno, watchin this review kinda makes me wana go find my copy of Spiderman 3, i think i would have a lot more fun replaying that, still might go pick this up, though.

Anyone that has trouble getting used to the swinging in Bionic Commando should just practice video gaming in general.  It shouldn't take long at all to get the hang of it. I'm about halfway through and the game is amazing.

Agreed, I feel like Jeff is getting used to having a conversation with a camera, which explains why his latest reviews have been far more entertaining, hes speaking like he would if he was telling you about the game in person.

This is what I love about Giant Bomb reviews. The Gamespot reviews are terrible because they are basically just reading off of a card and it sounds so fake. At Giant Bomb, it's more like they are memorizing/actually telling you about it with feeling

i Wanted to like this game but i could not get thye controls down so i had to pass, but its summer now and here i am starving for a game to play so i came back to check the review. maybe if i get it on PC the controls will be easier for me. 
 
Thanks for the review, i assume you played the xbox version and were able to grasp the controls i just could not get the timing down and the swing is all about the timing.i could have given it more time so that is why i am considering it again. I HATE THE SUMMER droughts. Only things coming soon is Shadow Complex and if they dont get pushed Borderlands and wolfenstaien in sept. For the first time in a LONG time though looks like just CODMW is the only winter release. Well, other then drakes 2. Next winter will be huge or winter 2011 will have some of the most polished games on the planet. Unless the publishers decided to release some for  the summer finally. I am old all year round so it does not matter when they release them i just enjoy playing them.
