Patrick should really be uploading these sooner than end of day. It's a feature that's recorded at like 9 in the morning. It shouldn't be a crap shoot whether it's up in time for an end of day commute around 5 or 6 at night. It's those damn other streams he's doing. Before he started doing daily streams at right at the time he'd be uploading the podcast it was even odds of having a podcast to listen to during lunch if I waited until noon to take it.

If he can't do it correctly in a timely fashion because he's too busy doing something he does every other day of the week he should give that responsibility to Alex.

Not that I minded today all that much. At lunch today I had another podcast to listen to and during the drive home I listened to the Soundtrack of DKCTF which is the best Soundtrack of 2014 most likely. I will listen next time I am in car.

Broke in Chrome, as well as not showing up on my RSS app on android.

I'm glad to see so much support for the developer with cancer, but it just makes me think about how many people don't have a collection of friends in high places to get the word out about their medical bills. Really bums me out.

And to think there are people who want to bring back the old healthcare system.

That's the thing, though. A new Shaq Fu will, under no uncertain terms, be incredibly stupid. But that's also part of the point, as it's a game about Shaq fighting an army of ninjas and who knows what else through the power of martial arts and a flashy smile.

Whether the game is the good kind of stupid or just plain stupid is left to be determined.

Ugh, I hate it when people make demands of good folks who try to provide us all with free entertainment. There's a human being on the other side with an actual life. Humans have things to do and they tend to make mistakes. Just send Patrick a message saying it's broken and I'm sure he'll try to fix it ASAP.

Well said. I love the amount of audio and video content Giant Bomb does for free, and gladly subscribe to get the other premium stuff. Now that I know everyone's having the same problem, it's no big deal. It just means I can listen to more later.

@bgfh: I have no problem with it being broken, that's an accident that can't be helped. My main issue is with how late he uploads it on any given day. It's a matter of priorities. Even if it had went up when he thought he put it up it still would've been past 4 PM. It used to be up around Noon before he insisted he needed a daily feature of him playing a single game. This is the point I am making.

If you look at this post and still think I am making a point about it being broken you are missing my point entirely. I am not talking about a single error I am talking about a conscious consistent decision to put off uploading Bombin until later.

@themasterds: I don't like to create conflict within our beautiful land of Giantbombia, but come on, man. I haven't noticed him putting the AM show audio up late, but if he is, so what? If you were mad because he was sitting around fanning Dave Lang like a good little slave boy or some other pleasurable activity, I'd get it. You would have valid grounds to complain like a self-entitled prick, but he's doing other work creating other content for the website. Content which some people actually consume and enjoy. Personally, I don't get into the Spelunkin' and such, but that doesn't mean it isn't something other people love and enjoy. If putting up our live show audio recording would prevent him from doing his other content, then he should certainly do his other stuff.

Either way, this is an ancillary to an ancillary piece of content. The live morning show is the thing. We're lucky they even bother putting up the audio version or archive it at all. Just be happy with what you get, man, and when it gets actually ridiculous, when Patrick is actually slacking instead of working hard on something else (even if you and I don't enjoy it, personally) at that point you should complain. But instead, complaining now, you sound only like a prick, my duder friend. I'm sorry if I sounded harsh in this comment.

@freddiefiasco: If he really can't do Issac after he finishes doing getting the MORNING show up he should give that responsibility over to Alex.

Also for what it's worth both versions go up roughly the same time usually.

Traditional Folk Music is....traditional folk music. Something like Bob Dylan is Contemporary Folk, i.e. part of popular music. Traditional Folk are regional songs passed down in communities and families for many generations for hundreds of years.

The Huddie "Lead Belly" Ledbetter talk comes as a surprise as I haven't played the second season of The Walking Dead nor have I finished the first season for that matter. I always knew that song as Where Did You Sleep Last Night. I've seen the song listed as "In The Pines" in Ledbetter compilations in the past. Nirvana also covered They Hung Him On a Cross, Ain't It A Shame and Gray Goose found in the Nirvana box set With the Lights Out.

This won't download in Foobar2000 either. I can see that it's listed in the raw RSS file but it thinks the last podcast was the 4th.
