Don't worry, it's more immersive this way since it sounds like everyone is communicating with you over some sort of sci-fi com link.

I tried soloing it last night. It didn't work out.

@spudtheblacklab: Just getting into the vault seems near impossible. I'd love for Bungie to design a singleplayer raid where you get better drops for completing it quickly.

Do nightfall by yourself if you want a singleplayer raid, it's pretty fun. Also, watching Brad DE the class item for no reason makes me upset.

Actually, the speed of light is now significantly slower than the speed of sound. Didn't you get the memo?

@brad: I think the 'poor' voice chat quality really adds to the atmosphere and made it feel more 'real.' After all, you guys are exploring an underground dungeon, having your communications come in crisp and clear makes no sense. :)

The audio is really out of sync. I guess I'll just watch the youtube version since the audio is fine there.

I will probably watch this as I grind in Destiny, excited. I got pulled into a raid the other night by some Lincoln Force clan members and we beat it in about 45 minutes. I had made it pretty far on a couple of attempts before but never finished it. It makes such a difference if everyone on the team is levelled up and at least a few people know what they're doing.

So the battle begins.

Hmm, it might make more sense for @brad to just rip it from the Youtubes instead of whatever crazy hacked thing he put together.

Yeah, audio seems better and in sync on GB Unarchived. Somehow more interested in watching this than actually getting and playing Destiny. Brad pulls so many Brads ...

Also I think someone already told Brad to use Homebrew when he was fucking around with compiling ffmpeg for this, but if you use OSX and don't know what Homebrew is: http://brew.sh/. Because it's great.
