You should check out the way that The Totally Rad Show does it's product placement. They frequently make it pretty hilarious while still staying on message. A lot of the time, the YouTube comments are positive ones about the ad, more than even the show. It's handled very smartly.

People complaining about the age gate are very silly people. It's really not that big a deal.

I think some pro equipment is built on demand, which is why it takes so long. For a small company, it conserves capital to not have to have unsold equipment with thousands of dollars of externally sourced parts sitting around.

Bummed they turned down the E3 stage/booth, the after hours thing makes sense though I guess.

kinda feel for Vinny. Video production setups seem like a pretty complex thing. having to rebuild all that again from the ground up must feel kind of rough after getting it so right at the old office.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind mentioning sponsors during a broadcast. When I watched Starcraft a bunch, it was always like "hey, thanks to Pepsi. It's really good and you should buy it. Because of them we can do this thing!" Sure as hell beats those ads that expand to take over the whole page, argh.

On pre-roll ads on videos: Fine. But I don't wanna see that shit before a 30 second teaser trailer. Or, hell, ANY TRAILER! That's like watching an ad to watch an ad.
