This will not be anywhere near as good as watching the video, I'm guessing. My fave bits from last night had Patrick standing and doing his crazy imitation of climbing stuff in Dragon's Dogma. I was on the floor laughing for that. I hope somebody makes a .gif of that or something!
Yeah, I hate to be a downer, but I've been living E3 vicariously through the bomb squad all week, and now I'm already starting to feel the onset of post-E3 withdrawal. Like after a week of basically putting my normal life on hold, I'll now have to return to more mundane things. Thankfully there's great games coming out really soon to fill that gap, but man...what a crazy trip this week has been. Giant Bomb has totally "made" my personal E3 experience again this year.
I'm telling ya'll. If you don't watch from 42:00 - 44:00 of this, you're missing possibly the funniest visual 2 minutes of all the livestreams so far this week:
@umdesch4: I agree with you whole heartedly! I would have loved to have been there getting my E3 on but the guys did a great job sharing the awesome experience... Telling you right now, I would trade my job in, in a heart beat to be able do what you guys do!
The PCgamer eurogamer and RPS people have been really positive about deus ex: human revolution, these impressions come from the first 3rd of the game, 10 hours of gameplay.
To a certain extent player agency goes hand in hand with clunkiness
People's memory always makes Deus Ex seem less broken than it was.
Got really chaotic at the end in the background. Fun to listen to either way. I really think Jeff and Alex are making way way too much out of an intensely scripted Bioshock Infinite though. They were talking about it like it's the best thing video game related they've ever seen in their entire lives.
