Ok, wouldn't ANYONE, male or female make groans and moans if this were to happen to them? Nothing that happens in this demo is worse than what you've seen in movies. If the game featured a guy, none of you would have made the connection to "porn". It's not the developers fault that you have a perverted mind. Game looks awesome!

Lara used to handle herself a lot better than this...I dont think there is anything inherently "perverse" about it like some people, but i feel like Lara Croft wouldnt be getting this fucked up.

I'd like a little more cussing and a little less moaning but seems generally solid apart from that. Definitly on my watch list.

This is supposed to be a young and inexperienced Lara Croft? I don't know, she seems pretty damn capable with that bow. And she's up against enemies with GUNS, too. Lucky for her, their accuracy leaves something to be desired.

What the heck was wrong with this demo? The first half was Laura Shooting. Dudes. In the Dick. All you people screaming about her shouts and moans, please kill yourself. The world is better off without you. You're only making the objectification of women worse by not wanting them to be treated equally as a man. Video game format or not.

@HerbieBug: They game has a a big hub world (has been known for over a year but not shown). Gametrailers showed a small bit of it but it was not that good of an indication how open things are BUT Crystal Dynamics have themself said that their is a open enviroment that you can explore. So let's trust them instead of going apeshit insane and make knee jerk assumptions (not at all talking about you but the general response people get).

Also... they have said that the first third or fourth of the game is about establishing Lara and having her being put in a rough spot so she can grow into that more brave character that many know her as. I personally like that approach.

I'm getting tired of people talking shit about this game without having facts. Once again, I'm not directing that aginst you since you actually asked if your perception was correct. That is the way to go. Enjoy E3! ^^

I never though I would be interested in a Tomb Raider game, but this looks really cool.

This seems like a good action game. But a bit too dumb for me personally. If Lara is "inexperienced" she's damn good at killing dudes in the most bad ass way possible. I'm also quite convinced my neighboors think I was watching porn on full blast.

Looks good. It's definitely quite a bit less torture porn-y. With the combat it seems like a more strategic Uncharted.

Let's face it; if ANY of that stuff happened to an actual person... forget moaning. They'd be curled into a ball on the ground bawling like an infant.

Looks like slightly more survival and environement oriented Uncharted. Looking forward to at least renting it.

I've always been a Lara fan, but let's face it; this game is not representative of the franchise's roots and has strayed so far from what the game was that it is unrecognizable as a Tomb Raider game. This is Uncharted with a teenage/twenty-something female protagonist with no sense of humor.

I just wish Square Enix would hand the IP off to a great developer who would make a game worthy of Lara; This is just going to be another Crystal Dynamics near miss.

Ugh, this looks so dumb. It's just bad Uncharted where instead of watching Nathan Drake get hurt and laughing it off, I have to watch a young girl get the shit beat out of her for 10 hours. It's just uncomfortable. And since when has Tomb Raider been a third-person shooter?

Well, keep in mind I'm talking about being vulnerable compared to characters like Master Chief, the Gears soldiers, and any character played by Arnold Schwarzenegger. The example I usually give is characters like Rick Deckard from the Blade Runner movie.

He still takes an inhuman amount of punishment with no real lasting damage, but he looked completely out of his depth for most of that movie. I've always liked the way Harrison Ford does action movies cause he does all the action stuff you're used to, but still makes you feel like his character is wetting himself in fear through the whole thing.

Between this and The Last of Us, there's a lot of brutality coming up in our new action-adventure gaming scene.
