E3 2014: Ed Boon Talks Mortal Kombat X

I straight up thought Scorpion was going to come to life and kill them at the end when the light died.

Great interview! Jeff and Ed make a great team. I'm still pretty hyped for this game.

I enjoyed both Injustice and MK 9 and I can't wait to play this one. I'm not really into fighting games either but there is just something about the NetherRealm games that hook me.

The game looks great, I just have serious doubts on how well the online systems will work. Injustice and MK9 have serious issues online (PC, 360 and PS3)

God, I love it when Ed Boon and Jeff do interviews. Ed Boon just seems a like genuinely good guy, even though he makes the most vicious games.

I loved the heck out of Mortal Kombat 9, especially the story mode. Liking a lot of the new characters, Cassie seems like she'll be cool to play.

Good to see Ed recovered from the Lang Zone.

Ed seems like such a great guy. It's so funny how he is nice and pleasant and then all the fatalities are so gruesome. Really looking forward to this next year!

I hope Sonya returns, i'd also like to know if the team are making efforts to improve the netcode over MK9 and Injustice which were both... functional, but not as good as every other fighting game these days.

Also Ed carefully didn't mention PC, it does seem like this is coming to PC but that still made me sad, seems like a publisher decision more than the creators :(.

Jeff can you find out if the 2 v 2 tag mode is in? Playing that with three friends made MK9 one of the greatest multiplayer experiences I ever had.

Ed is a cool dude and it's always nice to hear him talk about something he's clearly passionate about. Jeff knows his stuff and always does a good interview with him. The game looks gorgeous but I just don't play fighting games. All the best to them though. Looking forward to the quick look next year.

Yup pretty much the same for me!
I also love how MK is one of the few fighting games that even non-gamers can actually enjoy/join in without feeling shitty when you beat them to a pulp. Because it looks so damn awesome when you beat them to a pulp, nobody really minds losing all the time as people are too busy being shocked/in awe of the cinematic and gory moves.

Jeff + Ed always fun to watch them :D
