Such a great interview -- Jeff & Ed just mesh so well together and it all feels really natural. Ed in particular looks like he has a lot of fun and is glad to be able to act not nearly as formal as he would most likely have to when being interview by anyone else.

In time for EVO 2015, please.

Pretty this is the game I'm most hyped about from E3 this year.

Gotta say as a suuuuper casual fighting game fan. (i really like to watch people who are good at them play, but suck ass myself) MK9 was the one game I bought in years, specifically because it had a significant and approachable singleplayer campaign to dig into. So i'll be picking this one up too.

One can only hope.

Yeah, they really do. It seems that Ed is a bit more open to Jeff than most other journalists.

I'm looking forward to seeing how MK X pulls together in the end. When Ed was talking about the online "meta-game" it got me wondering if they'll do something similar to Noby Noby Boy in that everyone is trying to consistently reach a new combined goal. That could be neat.

Always love the GB interview? videos with Ed Boon, or the ones where he interviews GB. Looking forward to this new MK game as I normally don't like playing fighting games much now (just no time for the multiplayer madness) but loved MK9.

Haha This guy, man. I feel like he's looked like that since I was a wee one, dreaming about going to the arcade to play MK1. I still remember trying a Genesis demo of it at a Sears and I already knew Scorpion's fatality and did it in front of all these parents nearby shopping for clothes and they all cracked up when my opponent's skeleton fell to his knees after I lit him up. Great memory. Questionable parents.

Great interview. Is it me or has Giant Bomb been lacking these type of videos in that last year during events. You should definitely get back to doing more as you take right approach.

Ed Boon seems like such a cool guy. Him and Jeff always seem like actual mates which makes the interviews even better.

I like the idea of Cassie being more of a drunken mistake on Sonya's part and less of a loving relationship between Sonya and Johnny. That way she'd take more off of JC's fun personality and less of Sonya's uptight military attitude.

I don't like fighting games, but MK has always had a special place in my heart. I grew up as a kid watching the movies, watching the cartoon, watching the live action TV series and LOVING it all. I really hope to get sucked into one of them one of these days.

I don't care for fighting games whatsoever, but Jeff's Ed Boon interview is the one I look forward to most every E3.

Stamina meter isn't necessary for dash-run. Lots of fighting games have runs in this way without any need for a stamina bar to regulate it.

I can't believe Ed Boon doubted they would get Shu and Spencer on the Live show. GET REKT ED.

I really want to see Cassie Cage gameplay, not super hot on the other new characters but Cassie is the only one with not even screenshots of her out.
