Oh early 90's gaming, so glad I lived through you.

I'm amazed and slightly terrified at Jeff's game collection and his knowledge of so many of them.

I really adore this Encyclopedia Bombastica feature. It's a fascinating look at gaming when I was a kid (so far anyway) but everything covered so far never crossed my radar

agreed...personally i prefer retro-quick looks to modern quick looks

change the fire balls for fish, and the kidnapping theme with a theme about contamination and of curse, change the boat with Aquaman and you have potential

Keep on trucking...(screw that) I am boating. Great response to that odd line in a game all about boats. Rather amazed at the depth of the gameplay in this with the multilevel maps & crazy bits with good genesis music.

Played this with my brother, it was an early, defining moment in Bro-Op gaming. FTR, I drove he shot. This pattern continues, he's always great with arc weapons, and I enjoy/perform better in the driving role.

"Kenji, Come In!" was the "Hey! Listen!" of the early 90s.

Was Bimini Run really the only game published by Nuvision Entertainment? I can't seem to find any other games associated with that company.

In this it's a "fake-3D" representation of a 3D area with a real sense of scale though, wasn't Road Rash one of those games where you don't even get a sense of moving along the road, but rather that the road is the thing that is moving?
