The atmosphere for the upcoming Magus fight is one of my favorite moments in the game. The way the music builds up for the fight puts you at the edge of your seat.

Barle may be useful early game, but she is just crap late game. The characters that come in after her are so much better than her.

Also, those that are saying Bobo is not that great really are underestimating his potential. He is the best healer in the game. His heals do more than Brog's and Barle's by a huge margin, even if the descriptions say his party heal does "some" while they do "more". He also does massive damage and has great synergy with Brono, especially when he learns shock.

My team setup always was Brono, Bobo, and Bagus. That isn't the BEST setup, but each of the characters are so powerful on their own, that I didn't even need team attacks most of the time.

The actual best team is probably Bucca, Bobo, and Bagus. Omega flare trip tech is by far the most powerful attack in the game. The only thing that comes close is Brono, Byla, and Bobo's trip tech which is also pretty powerful. The reason why the Bucca, Bobo, and Bagus setup is the best is because each bring such great things to battle. Bucca is just plain powerful, and has a buff. Bobo can be a powerful physical damager AND has the best heal in the game. And well, Bagus is just Bagus. Nothing more needs to be said as to why he is awesome on the team *besides him being amazing with his single techs*.

There have been jokes about Barle being more useful dead than alive mid to late game since her being dead boosts up Bagus's final equipment.

The game is easy enough to really roll with literally any party formation, but there's some knowledge dropped from one who obsessed over this as a kid and obsessed again when the game dropped for the ds *got to tier 6 in arena of ages before Bagus's castle :) *

Despite the fact that Ryan and Patrick talk a lot during everything, I'm still very interested in the story since I never played much Chrono Trigger. So don't spoil stuff in these comments please. I know I could just not read them but I like seeing how the opinion of this ER changes over time.

I'm amazed how enthralled I am by this. Probably a testament to the game makers. Seriously stuff is slapping me in the face with how inventive it is in this game.

I usually hate long Giantbomb videos but I keep going "awwww" at the end of these.

"Tranny" is transphobic slur, as is the term "shemale." Many who identify as being transgender find such terms to be oppressive, objectifying, and dehumanizing.

That being said, this ER continues to entertain.

They seem to be getting better, they seem a bit shy of double/triple techs still, I'd like them to experiment a bit more with that, but they seem to finally be realizing how useful they can be. Patrick seems to have either sought out some knowledge himself or just started relaying info from the comments (even earlier ones if this isn't played in real time) cause it's shaped up a fair bit.

I really don't think they are skipping too many enemies. I skipped WAY more enemies when I first played through CT and was always woefully underlevelled. I basically attempted to get by every enemy I possibly could.

@Arek: It's interesting, I've beaten this game multiple MULTIPLE times, and these guys are TOTALLY proving Bobo's usefulness to me (never really used him).

Man, these guys need a new TV. I think it's pretty clear from this video that they can't see shit on it.
