Well that episode was a wash...wish they gave it another shot before calling it. Not sure if they recorded more after or just decided to stop for real. If its the former i am quite disappointed in the episodes length and content. If its the later, then i guess thats ok since it looks like they put in 3-4 hours of continuous play into one session

Only 23 minutes? I am disapointed...

those rock things make me realize how fucking bonkers scaling/pacing was in this game.

If the evil thing that lives in the big scary pit doesn't completely destroy them at least once I'm going to be upset, because it took me several tries :(

If it's not glaringly obvious, they've recorded several episodes in one day. This seems to have been back to back with at least #24 if not 23 too.

Calling it after one try? Come on guys.

Ryan is being a bit too slow with selecting the attacks, if they want to stick with active battle. They'll get him down next time, they've figured him out already with this first battle.

Hardly, they recorded this entire week before the christmas break. Cut them some slack.

They're not Uzi Punching nearly enough for my liking

Falcon Hit is my go-to for this fight, about 2 of those and the hands are dead and Chrono and Ayla are fast enough to kill the hands repeatedly without your party taking much damage.

Byan did pretty well in this battle - it's just that he kind of gave up towards the end - but that's what I like about the Endurance Run. It's very unpredictable and fun.

@Blind_Evil: not too surprised, Giga Gaia is the first real boss that can give someone much trouble.

Heh. I still love these videos. No matter how frustrating they can be to watch at times. First thing I check after work each day.

Controls are terrible. It's hard to position yourself to talk to the person you want and battles are frustrating. It also doesn't have any of the anime cutscenes of the PS/DS version yet it's also a 600meg download.

I'm 4 hours into it and I'm giving up. This port is terrible and somehow the graphics look even worse.

Hi, I'm from the internet and I'm complaining about the length of a video because I have sweet fuck all else to do.

Does anyone have any idea what the 3 letter code attached to each downloadable episode is for? They've been doing this for the longest and I still haven't figured it out.

@Dberg: Also they've been out of the office for a week and had a bunch of other stuff to do with GOTY. I didn't expect any new ER videos at all this week, honestly.

Brono usually attacks first anyway, making that speed-boost accessory mostly useless for him when most battles are completed in a single turn. Maybe it's the tree-hugger in me, but it kind of kills me how much they rely on the MP-hungry Lightning2 (8 MP) to end fights on the first turn while Bobo sits there twiddling his robot thumbs with that MP-saving accessory, occasionally belting out a Laser Spin (2 or 3 MP -> 1 MP). Such a waste of ethers.

I hope they realize that they can just break left arm then focus and attack on head. Getting rid of both is kind of pointless.

I like how Patrick analyzed the situation of the left arm rapidly decimating the team every single turn with 200-250 damage each (causing him to eat up 2 character actions with group heals), vs the right arm periodically healing the head for 250 (while a Triple Raid does 1400+ damage) and concludes that "I think that... yeah... our bad guy is on the right."

I know they're pre-recorded and don't read this, but the dual tech heal between frog and robo heals like 700 ish at this point? Also I wonder if they will equip the rage band, 50% counter-attack rate! You can get it the first time you visit the future too as the sewers aren't too tough and it's effective throughout the game as it scales with the damage you do, very useful.

Is anybody else getting bored of the Brono-Bobo-Brog connection? I think they are missing out on a lot by not using everyone else.

Brog needs to learn Cure 2 before they get that dual tech. Once they do, the game somehow becomes even easier. (as if that was necessary)

Ahahaha, I knew Giga Gaia was going to take them down, and it did so in spectacular fashion. It'd probably help if they had Ayla, and uh, well knew Falcon Hit, but it's amazing to see them try and actually get a decent way in before they got wiped. They are learning. I want to see how the plan of attack goes on monday now that they finally realize, hmm maybe lets use the barrier. Twin Golems is going to be an interesting fight as well...

Rather surprised they got through those Man Eaters so easily. When I was going through that last, they just kept chain confusing me, almost took my entire party out.

Good episode, hopefully they take him down next time.

Also you might want to equip some of those ruby/red vests, that'll cut that fire damage in half.

The Golem Bros are probably going to rape Patrick and Ryan real bad if they keep failing at basic strategy. Looking forward to it, muahahahaha

At the rate this Endurance Run has been going, I hope they don't start doing 10 min episodes... But I guess the GOTY has wear them down a bit these weeks, so I understand. Anyway, I know this is time consuming, but I hope you guys give it a bit more of a stretch on future episodes. Keepeth it upeth!!

Psst, his Fire Attacks are his most damaging ones. Remember that item you got that might help out with that?
