Endurance Run: Deadly Premonition: Part VJ-37

I've seen this ending several times and it has the same effect on me every time I see it. That's some beautiful storytelling right there.

Damn..... so the sweetest character in the game is raped and impregnated with a parasitic plant? That is some fucked up shit.

So he falls into the basement of the theater, then walks DOWN a thousand steps in an underground citadel and ends up on top of a clock tower.

what a stupid ending(ish).

Also, this ending still made more sense then Heavy Rain.
 
EDIT: the reactions and jokes from team VJ were really fucking lame this episode. *sigh* this ER blowed.Not the fault of the game, though.

HOLY SHIT ITS BATMAN

I really, really loved the stunned, awkward silence that went on throughout the cutscenes in this video after reaching the community center. 
 
A little disappointing that they didn't continue on to finish the game, as that gives them some time to let it all sink in. I was really looking forward to Jeff and Vinny's commentary while watching the credits roll after a long, long barrage of complete and utter insanity.
 
Also, fuck that running sequence. I beat this game weeks ago and my finger is still tired.

DP had a pretty steady curve of weirdness up until the late game where it seems like the developers just went; "fuck it lets go CRAZY!"

Also, I like that the zombies and the otherworld stuff is never explained. Just wouldn't be right if they did.

And oh man, couldn't you guys just finish it? Watch the last cutscene be like three minutes. The suspense is killing me.

Shame about the lack of giant dogs.  That was the first place that I saw them, and I just assumed it would be the same for VJ.  Once they finish the game, they should check out that episode of the BR run.  Good work on the boss fight, though!  It's not particularly hard, but that last form can take forever.  The worst thing is if you get on his shoulder for that last shot but you don't get it in time, he regenerates ALL his health!  Totally sucked when it happened to me.

You know what's fun? Doing that long quick time sequence on the stairwell while Zack is crippled and has to move slower than a tortoise stuck in molasses. It happened to me the first time I fought Kaysen and lemme tell ya, I had the time of my life trying to beat that sequence with Zack in that state.
