Endurance Run: Persona 4 - Part 123

Judging by the pics, Charlie goes back to school in this ep, man what a craaaaazy weekend he's had hu? he gets interrogated by the police, his cousin gets abducted, his uncle ends up in hospital then he fights a tank and finds a sweet gun, so if you ask me, no amount of homework or questions about melons are gonna faze him at this point, kid's got one messed up life...though on the plus side, he's got a bunch of girlfriends, one of which enjoys steak! so, ya know, swings and roundabouts....

Anyone have anything useful to tell me about the Nyx fight in P3? I am doing just fine until it breaks out the God Hand, then I just can´t keep up with healing my party AND trying to increase my defense to avoid insta-death from God Hand. The AI isn´t smart enough to use Mediarama when I tell it to heal/support, so when I use my turn to revive someone, that means that Nyx is getting 4 TURNS IN A ROW WITH NO HEALING and I´m totally dead.
 
Also, anyone who sent Jeff/´Vinny the link to the Persona comic is a fucking idiot. I read it, got spoiled and was saddened, why would you do it and not feel like a stupid fuck while doing it?

Yeah I started reading that comic and then hit a spoiler.  People had already been hinting about the spoiler in the comments of previous episodes anyway so it wasn't the biggest thing, but I wish I hadn't known about it.  Hopefully there's more interesting stuff to be revealed which hasn't been spoiled for me.

I'm honestly surprised the comic didn't have a few panels dedicated to the other spoiler for the ending.  The one that's causing all the buzz is heavily hinted at by the game itself on rainy days so it's not too bad.

Could someone actually link me to this comic? I've finished P4, so spoilers don't matter. I'm interested to see what all the fuss is about.

They really should be keeping Chie in. She's already behind the others lvl wise and at this rate she won't learn Godhand for a long time.

Frustrating. Just frustrating. Why send Jeff, who for this entire time has been trying to avoid spoilers, a comic (which I found highly amusing) that spoils everything.

That's absurd..You had Black Spot with Chie and you chose to forget it and now you complain about her skills although you still prefer to have her in your team....i can not understand this.sorry...and try to use some items for a start.it will make the battles less sp loss heavy and you will not have to spend money on fox...

Also, while playing Persona 3 I realized that the super-evilguy from Persona 3 is voiced by the same dude who voices Yosuke. So watch out, he just started hitting stronger with his wind to gain your trust...or something...

I wish the characters you weren't using would level (even if slower than you) while you are in the dungeon so that noone ever gets 10 levels behind and becomes not really worth the effort (chie for me, like 20 levels below me)
 
oh and I don't know about anyone else but I brought Naoto with me and left her on act freely, she was okay on several floors, helping but she didn't have many useful skills
 
but on later floors, there are a lot of enemies weak to light or dark and she will not hesitate to go after that weakness even if you don't know its a weakness yet :) though when there are multiple enemies she won't _always_ go after the weakness of one of them
 
oh yes, and when you have the square rooms with a whole in the floor, enemies can't see you through the area over the hole, like all the other square rooms in all the other floors

You guys should go into the video game with the B team tomorrow, or soon.

Its because the game wants you to switch characters in and out.  Its set up that way.  EXP scales, SP is the limiting factor and is expensive to recover and you want to finish dungeons in as little time as possible.  All that is screaming use all characters.  It isn't that hard to do when you need to go through each dungeon twice.
 
And losing Masukukaja was another head scratching moment..

Thing is, exp scales in P4 so having a growth on each of them, while nice, isn't really all that important.  If they bring Kanji into Heaven, and win a fight, he will literally gain 8 levels (ok, not that much.)  It's pretty much what I did during my second play through of P4, bringing my neglected B team: Yosuke, Kanji, and Teddie into Magatsu Inaba, and watching Yosuke, who was the lowest, go from lv 25 to 70 in about 10 fights.

Can any Persona 4 elitist come here and say that Masukukaja has ever been necessary for him/her? Increasing/decreasing attack or defense works, but hit/evasion is such a vague thing to me.  Hey may hit you less often, but you have High evasion and a Ring of Running Away From Blows, so when do you use the Hit/evasion spell? "

one thing i haven't understood is the side bars on the video. the black and white art work things. are they in game or edited in later to fit the player?

Tentarafoo is pretty useless for you. you should have replaced that with Masukukaja, because whole party buffs are great :/
 
As far a Chile, she's probably worse then Kanji, but she's good. The problem is you forgot Black Spot, and that was her ONLY decent single-target Physical for a long time, so now you'll have to suffer through it. Don't use multi-target spells on single targets. Multi-target physicals are good just because they're multi-targeted (with 1 exception). They have lower accuracy and crit rates then single target spells. You'll probably better off just using a normal attack with her for single targets (Skull Cracker has a lower attack then your weapons at this point). Not saying you shouldn't use Chie. Actually the opposite, you should use the hell out of her so that she'll level and learn her next attack :/
