The fox charges less them higher the Hermit rank is, but it's still pretty expensive.

Nah just kidding, I thought I'd just jump in and say it before the serious business gang gets here. :)

You fuse a persona with Invig 2 yesterday, which restores 5 SP per turn. This same persona has a 19 magic stat.

So, what do you do? You don't use it even once in 22 minutes, instead using a level 17 persona with no Invig 2 and 6 magic. You also waste SP on Mudo.

And, 25 minutes in, Jeff advised Vinny to avoid a gold shadow, which deals no damage and gives free money if killed.

You might grab some (I try to have like 10 handy) medical kits, yes they are expensive but they heal 100HP to all party members and I used 5 or so when fighting Kanji's shadow

And those magicians aren't weak against anything on the list, but they are very easy to give effects.  Use a skill to confuse them all or silence them all then you can kill them at your leisure.

Fun episode guys. The Endurance Run series has totally gotten me back into playing JRPGs again... Starting with Persona 4 of course. *Yip*

Ooo! Buy lots of Goho M's. Those things are way useful to stop and fuse more powerful personas as you go along.

Aion is right though. Yesterday vinny and jeff were both loving the idea of Invigorate, but they seem to have forgotten it by now, sadly.

Sorry, I got a little carried away because I was commenting whilst watching. It was just so annoying seeing them not use Sarasvati after spending 40 minutes yesterday fusing it, and then going on to waste SP by casting Mudo on enemies not weak against it. There were some serious /facepalm moments in the first 25 minutes.

As the video went on, things did improve. They pulled out Sarasvati at random, Jeff noticed it restored 5 SP per turn and they kept it on them after that. My feelings of annoyance stopped from that point omwards.

They are kinda getting better at the game. Vinny still gets ambushed from time to time and seems to have a great difficulty using a PS2 pad but he's not as bad as he was at the start. And they've started to understand that they don't need to waste SP on every enemy - rushing works to save time and SP.

One last thing: it's great that the video length average has jumped from 15-25 to 30-50 minutes. It was getting hard to watch the short videos because nothing ever happened in them.

You guys have to start letting the protagonist use some healing abilities since he has that healing orientated one, and start letting Yukiko use some fire attacks. Once you find a weakness, abuse it, rather than just maul stuff endlessly and rely on luck. It'll save you a lot of SP and reduce the odds of being pummeled to death from random crits or enemies using weaknesses against you.

Remember, unlike other RPG's, the main character can fill any niche available. Tank, healer, berserker, debilitator.....anything, so try and diversify depending on your enemies.

...oh, and although I'm 99% sure neither Vinny or Jeff have bothered reading more than a few comments since the first dungeon boss...

Put the Volt Suppressor on Yosuke (weak against Electricity), not Charlie.

Fox's healing cost is a yen/SP-ratio, and it lowers greatly as you increase his S.Link. (at max level, it's dirt-cheap)

P.S. Skull Cracker's confusion works against the Tigers every time because they're weak against ailments.

And there's 11 floors in this dungeon. (including the boss floor)

Dude, Aion, do yourself a favor.  Take a deep breath, count to 10, THEN post.  It'll keep you from sounding like a jackass.

You don't need any more persona-leave them open to pick up ones from shuffles.  Your Ara Mitama would be a godsend aginst the upcoming midboss.  You are slightly underleveled because you didn't fully explore the preceding floors.  If you want you can face the extra boss at Yukkio's, in many ways he's similar to the boss you fight next.

Shouldn't you think about weekness of each Personal each character has? For instance, Yosuke's persona is strong against wind but weak against electricity; you should equip him with the accessory you put on Charlie, which helps evading electricity.

Other than that, I'm thoroughly enjoying this, so keep it up~! :D

Huh.  Is that thing about people falling out of the all-out attack = no instant death real?  I know that if it kills everyone, the cloud has a skull on it at the end, but I didn't know about that.

For the record, though, the all-out attack is a special damage type: Allmighty.  You get spells of that type later in the game.  No enemies are weak to it, but like two enemies in the game are strong against it, and you just happened to find one of them.

That's it, besides what everyone said.  ALLWAYS have Persona with invigorate on unless you need to use someone else, this dungeon has 11 floors, rank up the fox so he doesn't eat your wallet each time, etc.  You guys have enough sp to at least beat the mid-boss and reach the eigth floor.

The thing that bothers me is, with some of the questionable decision making, Jeff and Vinny will eventually hit a wall and think twice about continuing the endurance run. It would be sad to have it end just because they keep using crappy persona (and even try to level them up instead of using their newly aquired, superior ones)

I played the game yesterday and it does appear to be true.

These seem like some useful comments. Hopefully the guys will read them. I'd say get Cu-Sith's shared xp thing but other then that forget about the lower level dudes. You can always fuse higher level ones.

One other thing-gold enemies give you chest keys and chest keys become more scarce later on so its always worth fighting them for chest keys

Cool episode. 

If you guys want go back to Yukiko's Castle now, just make sure you have a Persona with Tarunda to lower the boss's damage. It'll net you some good XP and an amazing fan for Yukiko. Also use Sarasvati more often as you can easily regen your SP on Charlie if you just melee with him.  You are also going to want to probably re-clear the dungeon to gain some EXP, you can do the boss in Yukiko's castle and come back to Kanji's.

There are Gold Hands later in the game that will attack, but the ones at this point in the game will only stand by or run. So if you get the chance to fight them, do so.

Vinny, pay attention to yours and the enemies shadows when exploring. Don't watch the enemies themselves, your shadows give you a better idea of proximity to each other.

Damn! the foxes prices are high, though I guess he does sort of have a monopoly on the business of restoring SP.

Tater Longs came from the grocery store.

Stop leveling up weak Personas(Cu Sith/Orbos). You will get better Personas either from "Shuffle Time" or through fusing. Casting Mudo really is beneficiary, regardless of wasting SPs.

Anyways, just keep fusing and such. Don't use those weak Personas. There is 11 floors in total, so I will suggest you rush to the 11th floor and save. Well in future dungeons because you won't have to worry about insufficent time. Granting better S.Links and such.

I think they're doing alright. I wish their memory was better but that's about it. Also the lack of healing is a bit nerve racking at times. It's true the guy can survive maybe one more attack and you want to conserve sp but...those cuts aren't going to heal themselves. I don't know how many times the enemy pulled a lucky crit and almost wiped my party in Persona 3.

I'm using the vanish ball which means get the fuck out of here. Hahaa
