Damn! That was an epic boss battle. For a time there I too thought that there was no way that you guys could pull it out, BUT you did and that's all that matters.

Yeah, I started watching these from the begining way before then (I just got Persona 4, and have been playing along) but it seems like people are checking out the back catalog.
 
That said...  this battle is a little painful to watch.  They got REALLY lucky with Yuikko and the Ice attacks (Like when he interupted his attack to start chargeing) and their habbit of ignoring physical attacks really hurts them in magic immune boss battles like this.
 
With Kanji, buffed up and Kill rushing, I was doing 100-300 a hit.

Vinny cast's bufu on things.

Dang! Shadow Teddie fight starts at about 00:34:30 and ends at like 01:18:00. That's a long fight!

I've heard them say that before... Was it on the podcast that Vinny has said "I cast bufu on things"? I know I heard Vinny or someone else say it.  As for this episode... Wow! They got really lucky. I was 100% sure that they wouldn't make it and I had to stop the video to go out to a baby shower and so I skimmed through the comments, found out that they ultimately won and came back. Crazy stuff. Like everyone else has said/written, I really wish they would at least remember which Personae (sp?) they were using the most and their moves. At this point, it's just ridiculous. Shadow Teddie took 30 minutes max. But I loved it when Vinny cast bufu and freaked out. I had the same reaction which made it even funnier. I could just imagine Jeff sneering at Vinny at that moment.  Hopefully they take the time to fuse good Persona, learn moves and their move names, and actually pay attention to stats after this experience. Still enjoying it immensely though. "

Sweet, an hour and 20 minutes. But the Shadow Teddie fight lasts 40 minutes??? Damn, how long did it take them to finish the rest of the boss battles after this? LOL

Barely and/or after much longer periods of time than it should take someone to win. And besides, it's not like they were ignoring advice this whole time. If they didn't stop and grind and make the specific personas with the specific moves people told them to make around Shadow Yukiko there probably wouldn't be the rest of the Endurance Run. They depended on what people were saying alot more than you think.And also, they died plenty of times, including on a boss later on in the ER. "

Man, Jeff was so ready to murder Vinny.

I love how in pretty much the entire Run, they disregard little things like the strength and magic stats on personas and are surprised when Persona's like Gdon do more damage with physical strikes than with medium magic attacks.

I just realized that "Nihil Hand" may be the best name for an attack, ever

I love the fact that Jeff grew a natural fear to bufu. Near the end, Vinny has the "cursor" over bufu and he hits a button and Jeff almost loses it.

Funniest thing out of the ER yet.

This fight made me so tense when I first played it. It is one of those classic Shin Megami Tensei moments. Where you try to pull victory from the hands of defeat. That boss is still one of my favorites.

Jeff's "OOOO!!" noise at ~25 minutes STILL cracks me up.

"We're not chumps..." followed by the Bufu cast. Man, I forgot how perfect that moment was.

I just finished these battles last night. I have to say, Shadow Teddie is one of the best boss fights I've seen in and game.

Wait this Rise Shadow is the one that looks the most like the person its based on? What about the Kanji one that was Kanji just siting at the top of the shadow or the Yukiko one where it kind of has her face and hair?

OH GOD, Drew, savior of the endurance run for the second time!

Wow, I didn't realize it the first time through, but Charlie's HP goes down to 8. So close to gameover >.<

I will continue where others left off, until i get bored with it.

First time going through this (finally got to it!), man, I forgot how long this fight was. I sure died a whole lot in this game. (It was also the first JRPG that I actually finished).

Wow, I'm surprised they didn't cut this episode in half.
