For getting a little tipsy on the cheap, you really can't beat white wine. Hell my manager at Whole Foods once told me that Bandit Pinot and Chardonnay are two of the best quality/flavor-wise you can get at their pricepoint.

Dan. On your wine opener. At one end, you'll find a blade that swings out, kind of like a swiss army knife. That is what you're supposed to use to get the wrapper off. Push the blade into the wrapper, and rotate it around the bottle underneath the lip, and the top will pull right off.

The 2 hours or whatever I was there for ruled. Excited to see how it started!

Wasn’t this on Dans Twitch channel originally? Is this unprecedented to then also appear on Giant Bomb itself?

@bb4lake: Jess and Grubb also did their own solo Extra Life streams on their own Twitch channels but there's no reason that should mean the VODs can't be posted here (I assume they will be, eventually)

I'm surprised to see Horror Land win. I thought Space Land was the universal favorite. Also, Grubb looks so much like a younger version of a friend of mine in this stream that it's kinda freaking me out.

Malört is Swedish for Wormwood. And it's pronounced mal-ört (mahl-uhrt) not ma-lort

Absinth is indeed also made with Wormwood. Real absinth is just string booze. But back in the olden days some cheap copies used copper based coloring to get the green color and those were generally very bad for you and could cause all kinds of issues including hallucinations

In all seriousness, my favorite part was the SHATTERING of the tradition and having the requisite Jeff ACTUALLY enjoy himself and win!
