Great effort across the week, guys. The other show ideas were probably stronger but Jeff's character and the age of consent line were spot-on. Fantastic theme this year.

I guess I should really play X-Com then...

That was perfect, in a slightly creepy way. Patrick's role was perfect. :D

This "episode" was.....a bit weak.

Stuff like this makes me damn proud to contribute my $50 a year.

I love that Jeff's character is just manically insane, sitcom's use of characters with delusions for humor is not only sending a disgusting message it's also incredibly lazy writing. I never thought I'd find such a poignant moral on Giant Bomb of all places.

Giantbomb in a terrible sitcom and Vinny playing more Sleepy Dawgs? It must be Christmas, or close enough.

So much to love: Ryan nailing the irritating sitcom best friend character, Jeff as the crazy Kramer type, Brad's stilted sitcom acting, Patrick being an asshole, Patrick's roller shoes, Patrick's sunglasses, the generic video game sound effects for Galaga, Vinny as the wise barista, the Harlem fuckin' Globetrotters (and the game being on the radio haha), and, most of all, the way every groan-inducing joke made me shout "oh God DAMN it!" every time. Beautiful, just beautiful.

Bravo, Giant Bomb. You make me so happy that I am a subscriber.

What a hell of a GOTY from GB! I didn't think they could out do last years, but they may have. The combination of Far Cry 3 & Sleeping Dogs recaps this year is most comparable to last year's Skyrim & Saint's Row 3 open world shenanigans. Thanks GB, this site is so fucking stupid in the best possible way.

I could watch Vinny play Sleeping Dogs all day.

Oh man, Vinny is so awesome when he plays Sleeping Dogs. Apart from the end, which was fantastic, I loved when he smashed his head through the window so he could shoot the random person driving in the other direction. And then showing up to a street race in a van.

The only thing that could have made it perfect was if he had picked up the bag.

So happy I got Sleeping Dogs on that Steam sale. Now I just need to get a computer strong enough to run it.

The reason it's good that the cops are hard to attract is good, is because the cops are stupid in this game. At least in GTA you can just drive fast and get away eventually, instead of the HKPD having lambos and weirdly capable drivers.

And if you're dealing with them on foot, it's fucking AWFUL. I've had times where their tackles were timed so well that I couldn't do anything against two cops who would tackles me as soon as I started to move away from getting out of the last tackle. And hand to hand combat just gets you into one of those animations over and over, which is pretty annoying.

I also think that the wet ground looks worse by a long shot than GTA 4, which at least had high enough resolution reflections to not shudder around even when reflecting big things. When you pay any attention to the reflections in Sleepy Dawgs, it's pretty awful.

I am those crazy people who freaking love Yakuza games fighting system and I think it is better and more brutal than sleepind dogs, but sleeping dog has still fun hand to hand combat.

I would totally watch a sitcom based around Vinny running a coffee shop.

F all this noise about day 1 digital. So I get to pay way over the retail average, wait hours for gigs upon gigs to download on a crappy internet connection from an uptight network provider and can't get any resale on the game I bought? Oh yes please!!

In total, I think "The Workplace" was the best Giant Bomb spoof. While Roomies was on par with the rest, the different camera style from most sitcoms detracted from the overall theme. However, I thought last year's GOTY sequences would be topped but this was head and shoulders more awesome. 5 stars, GB, 5 stars.

I love that the sounds coming out of the Galaga machine weren't Galaga sounds.
