Game of the Year 2015: Day Three Recap

After a lackluster Day 1, these videos have been....well I'm not even sure what adjective to use. I don't watch Youtube so I'm still probably not getting the full effect of the satire but jesus.

Man, I'm just not feeling most of these videos.

They're way too long; I get the joke in the first few seconds, but it gets stale really, really quick.

And that's why of the ones we've seen so far, Drew's was the absolute best one. Short, sweet, and peppered with great moments, which means that it's a blast from start to finish.

dan idk if your framing was intentionally terrible (because youtube lolcatz) but you should look into something like this, get them production values up son!!

Only about 5 minutes in but... eh, they can't all be winners.

Oh wow, it gets both much better and much much worse with Dan's. Ridiculous and amazing.

Worth getting through the first section of Hat Chat for the 'punchline' (Brad opening endless tresures) at the end. And jeez brad's hair has grown. Impossible to notice with his new style.

Dan was great.

They're still mostly all too long though. Alex, Drew and now Dan's have all been about the right length.

Best debut: Grow Home and Undertale are both "cute". Ori on the other hand, is a masterpiece. Robbed.

This Game of the Year is baffling. I have no nice way to put it, most of these video just seem... random. I'm not amused, I'm just puzzled.

Really liked the play on the Dan vs Patrick Mario Maker stuff. That room of springs while also being a spring is pretty cool too.

Ok, I saw the 2nd Brad video and it makes a little bit more sense now, but... I could barely hear the voices. Brad's groaning made me srsly mad, he was making it impossible to hear what was going on outside the door.

I would watch Hatchat if it was an actual thing.
