I hope so too, there was no pre-show music, they started out directly with a skype call with drew where they were testing delays and stuff, then they started goofing around in the game while trying different compressor settings, and Vinny did some amazing things during that phase. Pretty sure it was 34 minutes in total they cut out, since there was no pre-show music and my timer was at 34 minutes when they said "I guess this is where we'll start the stream", which they start this video with.

They just need to point a recording camera at him, no matter what he does, it's bound to be good.

Man, the multiplayer seems super fan.

@jelyk: I think they've cranked out a lot of content since a few months back now. They're not lagging on Quick Looks at least.

This just makes me think of how Saint's Row 3 and 4 (and 2...?) allow online co-op for the entire campaign. So, you know.

Yeah the quality really dipped when there was a lot of motion, but its hard to tell if that is far cry or the stream. Far cry used to look like that for me when I played.

The luma range is definitely compressed in this making everything washed out and no blacks. Probably set to use TV levels 16-235. Should always use the full 0-255 and let peoples computers worry about the output levels to their monitor/TV. Seems to be the entire stream not just gameplay since the shadows behind Vinny and Alex are grey and should be black.

@jelyk: Vinny has two young kids and given that he's probably a good husband that tries to share the load with his wife, means that even though he's working hard he probably has to clock out at the end of the day and can't just be in the office until 10pm or something to get everything working quicker.

Can't wait for more GBEast vs West content.

Every time Vinny is in an open world, I worry that secretly, he is psychotic.

Vinny would make a brilliant tester, always messing with the limits of open world systems. So entertaining to watch.
