Playdate: GBW Playdate: SNES Classic (10/12/2017)

I love Rorie, I find the stuff he has to say amusing/funny most of the time. This week's highlight is the unintentional humor of making a joke about his high pitch. It's how he talks to his gf, and then saying he also talks to his dogs with the same voice ( only moments later).

The jingle that plays when Kirby dies sounds a lot like an alarm i had on my phone. Every time it happens it startles me.

There are old people/disabled seats on the cars near the doors; I usually sit well far to one end of the car.

It wasn't deleted by myself or a moderator, unless I'm mistaken, if that's what you're oh-so-subtly implying. If it was a moderator they most likely would've deleted the quotes, too. I wouldn't have deleted it since it's worthwhile criticism that isn't overly personal and I'll let the mods know that if it does turn out to have been one of them. We're perfectly fine with people criticizing staff so long as they're not too shitty about it, as you're no doubt aware.

As far as my camera presence goes, thanks for the feedback! I'm well aware that I get off-topic and ramble a bit, which is a side effect of my being mortally self-conscious of dead air. I do my best to tamp it down when I think about it, but at the same time I'm 37 and there's only so much change I have left in me. Sorry if it bugs you though!

@rorie: I find your rambling endearing. I have got annoyed about you missing the conversation or rules in the past, but re-watching, I see how intent you are on chat/support/whatever. I just let it go now, we're all human, after all.

TL;DR - You're good, duder.

I'm not asking for much, but it's really disheartening to watch a playdate where no-one gives a shit about what's actually going on on-screen. I get that shooting the shit is part of of Giant Bomb but at least try to be interested in what games are actually being played. Ben's speedrun of SMW started and ended with a wet fart because there was this uncontrollable need to talk about stuff that's entirely off-topic.

You rock, Ben.
