I love Ryan's subtle hatred of Will too. There appears to be no reasoning behind it.. but there almost doesn't need to be. It's endlessly amusing. Eczécutable.

Jeff has said before that he's at least played some of it, but I'm not sure how much. Just said it didn't grab him the way Persona 4 did, which I can see even though I really loved Persona 3 and only bought it after the Persona 4 ER was already halfway through. Different vibes.

As for Ryan vs. Will, it's really funny how people can get those ideas in their heads from the little interactions we witness. There was an episode of GameSpot's On The Spot years ago where Ryan had a black eye and Jeff made some crack about how Ryan deserved it, so for years afterward, I assumed they hated each other. Pretty much all because of that one remark.

The Yoshi discussion while the camera spins was one of the greatest moments I've ever seen on Giant Bomb.

And Patrick looks YOUNG! with that hat on.

Those precious seconds where Yoshi is spinning at the camera with Ryan bitching Yoshi out in the background are fucking mesmerizing.

Ryan is rarely serious. People need to stop with this "Ryan seemed angry. God, what an asshole!" nonsense. That's how he jokes around. You must have trouble interpreting social cues if you think he was actually at Will's throat. Some of these people play video games together outside work. They're not just coworkers, they're friends.
