Well at the time it was. Other old good FPS games on consoles are the Quake 2 port for Playstation and Exhumed also on the original PS.

The AvP part about emailing James Cameron etc. had me cracking up at work today.

I too have an opinion on the music.

i love that grandtheft auto music..what was that game called in it..equilibrium or something. anyway they use it during week in games at the begining

I personally think the music just needs to be lowered down a little as previously mentioned by other people. Other than that, I think it is a nice added touch.

Guardian Legend is freaking AWESOME, one of the best NES games almost no one has heard of bar none.
 
And yeah, the 'ware music was a hilarious touch (especially since they didn't mention it at all in the actual podcast), but a little too loud.

Well, are they going to wait until 10pm their time to drop the bomb again? Like they did last week?

I'm hoping for 7-7:30 PST, but that may be a bit ambitious.  But who knows, they're fairly inconsistent when posting these as far as I remember.

Love the new design, the music's an okay variation on the same ol' theme, and I wish I could make some kind of joke connecting Jungler and the infamous Djungelvrål candy from a year ago...but alas, I cannot.  Also, gotta give appreciative props to the (intentional or otherwise) IRPS homage at the very end of the show.

Man, back when they thought Game Room was a good idea!
