@oldskooldeano: I figured as much. The term and/or the footwear most likely was adapted during the Japanese occupation of WWII. The native tongue also has some Spanish adopted during Spanish colonization. I didn't look any of this stuff up I'm just going by common sense and the bit of history I'm aware of. I took beginning Japanese and I could have sworn there was a more specific term for those wooden zori but clearly I'm not sure.

Not going to lie, the slut-shaming joke didn't really sit well with me. Other than that, this was one of the most hilarious Bombcasts I've ever listened to.

As a small business owner, this was a terrific Bombcast for my small business, of which I own.

Vinny's stories about when he worked at the skate rink are so great. He never fails to make my day better. Nice having Drake on there. Looking forward to the coming Dark Souls II coverage. I'll never play those games but I love watching GB play them.

Back To the Future 2 took place in 2015.

Listening to the talk about being scared of online or annoyed at being killed a lot in multiplayer is a bit ridiculous, man up. It just seems crazy to me to be somewhat less enthusiastic about a game once the rest of the world gets it and your early access bubble is popped. It's not like CoD or Titanfall are super high skill ceiling games, anyone can jump into matchmaking and have a few good matches.

I don't understand people who only like to play adversarial if they are steamrolling or doing the best, there's little fun to be had there because eventually you just go on autopilot and you're not learning anything new.

Why the heck do people act like dark souls is some magical game, it is literally just another action rpg... Wow secret items never done before, woah you should dodge your enemies that is new, archaic menus not really a good thing but there are plenty of games still rocking the interfaces from dos games. The biggest thing that is somewhat innovative is how they implemented online.

Funniest episode in a while... I've never laughed that hard while doing the dishes.

Man... Every 2-3 months, the Bombcast has a truly classic segment that leaves me crying with laughter that I know I can look up on youtube when reminiscing years later. This episode alone had about five of those. This is one for the ages.
