@patrickklepek On the one hand, I think investing in some better recording gear for the Dump Truck is a really good idea. It's a great feature and deserves some more production loving to bring it up to par with all the other regular site features.

But on the other hand, I actually kind of like the general roughness. It feels more intimate, and I think its casual nature might make for more candid interviews. A more professional less unprofessional atmosphere also means we probably wouldn't get stuff like Steve Gaynor's awesome impromptu Black & White story during the Davey Wreden interview.

@jeff - Do the responsible thing with your busted TV: drag it out into the woods and beat the ever-loving shit out of it with bats and sledgehammers.

People over-simplifying subjects they are ignorant in: it has a name - Dunning-Kruger Effect. Everyone does it. People who make an effort to think critically can be on their guard for it when they find themselves doing it. It appears to be just how we are wired.

Some parts of the game were unquestionably frustrating at the time, but looking back, I have only fond memories of 1999 Mode. It was fun scraping through fights using literally every tool available to me.

"The Shining" was a great Stanley Kubrick movie loosely based on the Stephen King book of the same name. Jack Nicholson was in it, and, yes, he was always the caretaker and was center in that old picture from 1921. "The Shining" was meant to entertain and scare/unsettle you. At the end of the day it was a good horror movie.Nothing more. Don't be crazy.

I'm not someone who really ever gets into these hype-modes for games and Bioshock Infinite hit me hard. It's an evolution of storytelling in the first person shooter genre on the same caliber that Half Life 2 was, and will be remembered in a similar light, at least by me.

it baffles me that brad is reluctant to care about metal gear when he was the one that gave mgs 4 five stars, and was the one that was fighting for it for goty at that time.
