Hey, its not throwing a tantrum to skip a GB podcast. It would be throwing a tantrum if people said they were never going to listen again or something. You don't have to universally love and consume everything GB or Whiskey Media creates. I don't like guest heavy podcasts in general and I like the regular hosts. Also, I'm not interested in a non-videogame tech site, so theres really no interest here for me. Why would i listen to a podcast that I don't like? I can listen instead to old Bombcasts I havent heard in a while, or other podcasts like the Smodcast, NoobToob, the Australian gamer podcast or Spill.com "Let's do this" (although they are having a show with a guest this week so ill probalby skip that one, too :P)
 
Also Ipad talk? Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck that. I am sick unto death of that stupid thing and all the stupid talk about how revolutionary it is. Has anyone else been reading Boing-Boing recently, they are going nuts over the dame thing. There was seriously an article about how to make an ipad cosy or something and an article where a baby played with an ipad. Blech!

You are out of your god damn mind Ryan. Just Cause 2's grappling hook doesn't even ATTEMPT to tap the terrain Bionic Commando was rolling in. BC is about flow and the physics of the thing. JC2 just don't give a fuuck. Which is rad. But come the fuck on, give a game respect for the one feature it got right.

TF2 on PC is not the game where you have youngins calling you names.  You should try it because it is a beautiful game.
 
The "team" in Team Fortress 2 is meaningful in that a single player is useless on their own, so you don't get the egos and bravado in fellow players the way you do in other games.  Your ears are safe.

I can't play really short games unless it really good. The thing can be said if the game is too long but that is only bad if it's a bad game or poorly paced game.

Always sucks to have half the crew gone, but the Tested guys were a lot of fun, Will in particular.

Bombcast was fun! Thanks @ryan for having Norm and I on. We probably got a little too iPad-y at the beginning, but if we hadn't pushed on, we would never have discovered the bubbly fart app. I think we all can admit that we took something useful away from that.
 
For what it's worth, I could play ME2 hardcore, I chose not to for the same reason that I choose not to get kicked in the balls 5 times a day. I play games to have fun, not for some masochistic need to show everyone how badass I am, which makes little sense in a single player game, mainly because there wasn't an achievement for beating the game on hardcore.

I wont lie and say I'm excited to have the Tested guys on here. I dont know them and I just don't want ye olde bomcast ruined, without any of the starting four, it's just weird.

So you're comparing our podcast to a deadly, uncurable disease? Awesome.  I appreciate that everyone is so passionate about the Bombcast that they freak out at the slightest permutation, but you guys need to chill the eff out. Stomping your feet in the middle of the grocery store because you're not getting your favorite type of juice box maybe isn't the best way to endear yourself and have your message heard. Jeff and Brad were out of the office, and with Saturday's release of the iPad, and not a whole hell of a lot else going on, it made perfect sense to have WIll and Norm on as guests. I can bet you dollars to donuts that, regardless who the guest was, there would've been just as much iPad talk this week--it just would've been grossly uninformed. "

Totally not into all this iPad talk.

Pretty good show. I don't like having guests in general, and I felt there was too much about the iPad and not enough game talk (unfortunate consequence of Jeff and Brad being away), but Will and Norm are cool and are good podcasters.  

Chilled Will is very funny. All the professionalism that went into his Live Streams must have taken its toll!

People, stop complaining. They don't have to do the podcast every single week for you but they do! So be grateful or fuck off.

One of the few bombcasts that I haven't dug. Seemed as though Will was trying too hard.

Great Bombcast, I for one enjoy guests on occasion. Especially if they are coming from Tested.com!

Feist has been around since the start of the 90s. She didn't start doing solo stuff until 1999, which is when she started getting more recognized although she didn't really become popular in Canada until about 2003 when Let It Die was released and than wasn't really recognized in the U.S. until her third Album The Reminder came out 3 years ago.  
 
Again with Metric they have been around since 1998 (one year longer than The Shins [who you mentioned as old] have been around) but didn't really get noticed in Canada until 2003 with the album Old World Underground, Where Are You Now? and in the U.S. it wasn't until Live It Out (2005) and really more particularly Fantasies (2009) that they were recognized. 
 
I did find it funny though that the first two bands that Ryan and Will thought of as current in vogue indie bands (well and artist) are both from Canada and both have been around since the early and late 90s respectfully.   

As for MGMT ya those guys can go fuck themselves.

Why is there always someone hating on Brad? He's funny as fuck, he just has a drier sense of humour than the other guys, I think he plays off the rest of them well.  I agree the guys from Tested were good though.
