Wow, it's been a long time since I've seen a Bombcast. I remember listening to a similar Bombcast almost a week ago now. I was outside at the time - if I recall correctly I believe was walking down the street, heading for the train station. You see, I had to take a train into the city to go to school, because, that's where my school is. It's in the city. Anyway, I digress. I was using an Apple iPod Touch fourth generation at the time, and the previous night I had actually downloaded a Bombcast onto said iPod Touch. Long story short, I played that Bombcast while I was travelling and I listened to it not only while walking but also while I was on the train and later in the day when I sat on a chair. I had headphones on so it didn't just play out loud to everyone but I could have done this because it is a feature on the iPod Touch, however, I felt it would be inappropriate so I listened to it privately although I was still in public. I wonder when I will listen to this Bombcast. Technology is truly amazing.

So don't go to itstuesdaydotcom, I guess. My internet is telling me its sketchy and to enter at my own risk.

If there's nothing about Skate-asouras Rex this week, I'm done forever.

Got a Gameboy when I was 3 and I have never looked back since. Pokemon was so awesome when I was a kid. Spent so much playing those original games. Ah, the good old days.

I picked up Carcassone for the first time a few months ago (board game version), and man is that game great. I need to start picking up some of the expansion.

I own two of those Game Boy boxes, and they're still on my shelf, complete with all the ads from the Swedish importer Bergsala and their local Nintendo Club.

The screens on both of the machines have gone bad though. The cable from the motherboard to the screen apparently commonly degraded, and looks like that happened to my machines too. Still have a working GBA though, but the screen for those are so goddamn hard to see anything on.

Now that's a list! Eight out of those ten games are well deserved to be there (imo), and most are favorites of mine. Final Fantasy Legend II and NBA Jam were good to see and brought back some interesting memories.

Also RIP J&R. Love the New York based talk this week. Makes my heart warm.

@vinny Don't worry you're not an old man. As someone who is in his early twenties and is bombarded with all those social media things pretty often you learn to ignore them. The reason you haven't heard of the majority of them, is because the majority of them are shit. There are new social media sites that come and go almost daily and still the most important ones are Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+ and Vine (sort of) which are the only ones that have really broken through with any staying power.

Jeff's voice sounds a little bit sore on this week's podcast. Weird?!

@jeff nooooooooo.. you missed Brooklyn. you walked the wrong way - you missed 2 of the nicer areas in Brooklyn. Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO. The Fulton street "mall" is pure crap. It is the most ghetto strip in the whole area. ugh..

You where like 3-4 blocks away from really nice places.. makes me sad :(

Nintendo has the most solid legacy platforms of all time. NES, SNES, Gameboy, all hold up incredibly well compared to their contemporaries.

I love the Gameboy, still have my bright red GameBoy Pocket and it still works flawlessly, but I lost my matching Pokemon Red cart :(

I totally skipped the GBA and DS, but I LOVE the 3DS. Maybe Nintendo dropping the home console and focusing on handhelds would not be a bad thing. Phones still can't replace a dedicated handheld gaming device.

Does anyone else hear a slight... echo? Maybe that's not it but this one sounds a little off somehow.

@liquidprince: Any social media site we know about and is worth anything (like Twitter, which Vinny discusses trying to talk about with his young cousin), these kids shouldn't be on anyway. Thus why they cluster onto these shittier, lesser known sites their friends are on. Good on whoever it was who asked if Snapchat was okay for a kid to use.
