I love that you acknowledge that opinions can be different and then immediately says he's wrong.

I mean, sometimes he's a bit over the top with his opinions, the NIGHTS quicklook for example. Perhaps I shouldn't have called it wrong but disagreeable. But my point was that even when I disagree with him on something he puts in in a way that's hilarious.

crap, I suspected DKC Returns would have frame rate problems on 3ds but Patrick seems to be the only person reporting it and most videos I have seen it looks smooth I guess I have to wait for reviews

Hmm, you sparked my interest Jeff. I too would like to get better at fighting games in the way you discussed. Your description of how you've played fighting games in the past is how I see it as well. Just picked up Injustice and will be buying a fighting stick and I'm going to see if I can't "learn" the finer points of this game. Will be picking up SSF4:AE. (all on PS3)

Agree with the crew around 2:42, if I never owned a Wii I would have never played Mario Galaxy, which was a really great game. Other than that I don't think I have put more than 2 hours into any other Wii game.

What a piece of trash system, anyone who is still a Nintendophile after this and the Gamecube is a idiot masochist. DS is still great, I don't own a 3DS but its tempting.

I guess I was more interested in stuff like incredible level design and having fun when I was nine. As an adult, I can finally understand why Yoshi's Island is terrible. Baby Mario is dumb.

Jeff, you're still my favorite, but what a bunch of nonsense that was. If I may throw out an unfair accusation to counter yours, you hated the game because the box had the words "Super Mario World 2" on it.

Good on Patrick for not getting dragged into the YI mess. You know why he didn't argue back? Because Jeff was being nonsensical about his hatred of YI and arguing would have just resulted in a bunch of yelling and threads about how Patrick sucks. YI may very well be the best platformer ever made. Graphics and music still hold up today, amazing level design, fantastic and varied boss fights etc... You can dislike YI for personal reasons but objectively there is no way an honest game reviewer can conclude that YI is a bad game.

Jeff is fantastic but increasingly I fear that he is dominating the tone of the room/crew too much and that in some ways is obstructing some of the other aspects of everyones personality, etc... I think Patrick sticks out so much (at times) because his views are often different than Jeffs and the rest of the crew tends to default to Jeff way to much.

Anyways, holy crap that was a long comment.
