Ryan bitch slapped Jeff with a "quiet down" remark after Jeff was gettin excited about some E3 game.

i can't help but to wonder what kinda game it is ta get Gerstmann excited. that dude is pretty low key. i imagine if it were a PS3 or Wii title he'd be laid back about it but excitement means its gotta be a 360 thing.

you probably couldn't hear it but Jeff reached across the table and slapped Brad before asking him what was wrong with him for not getting excited about the game. so its probably a shooter.

One of the best episodes EVER.

Really reminded me of the golden age of The HotSpot and Rich Gallup.

I think people just have to face that the GB crew did not enjoy playing Deadly Premonition and so they don't want to talk or think about it any more.

One game that does damage modeling well is Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway. If you stay out of cover too long while being shot, your screen greys out indicating that bullets are close to hitting you. Eventually, one bullet will hit you and you will die. I think that is a great system, and it is basically a rechargeable health system that is actually justified.

In short, bullets whizz by you and eventually a fatal bullet will get you.

They never acknowledge the ER in podcast only in quick looks. Also the email covers it. so be happy they picked that one email.

There was a recent mailbag where they acknowledged and somewhat mocked all the requests for a Deadly Premonition talk.  Jeff said something like, "Was that it?  Was that our required discussion of Deadly Premonition?"  I think it's whatever one in which they get the custom coffee mug.

Brother's in Arms: Hell's Highway essentially did what Brad was talking about. It was essentially a recharging health scheme. The screen turned red like normal, but instead of indicating that you were getting hit, it was indicating you were under fire and in the open. Eventually, you would take the one bullet and die if you didn't find cover.

Functioned the same, but still felt more believable.

Authenticity is my religion and Kid Rock is the shit!!!

Actually, there's no one more authentic than Ice-T. As for Coco... I wonder if every part of her is authentic...?

When Jeff robotically said "COWBOY!", i knew exactly what he was talking about because i always thought that part of that Kid Rock video was weird too.
