So I think it's kind of hypocritical for him to be super sensitive to spoilers for Darksiders, and then just spoil some character deaths in a game where a PART of it only came out 6 months ago.

I feel like they're definitely underestimating how much Guild Wars 2 changes the MMO formula. There is no way to deny that Halo revolutionized the (console) shooter, even though it looks like a standard FPS on the surface. In the same way GW2 is obviously a fantasy MMORPG, but with the changes in skills, no holy trinity, action oriented combat, no kill stealing, dynamic events, overflow servers and so on, ArenaNet has created a game that all future MMO's should/need to take a clue from.

Just wanting to point two things about the PSN discussion.

First for the firmware update on the PSN, they really are not that bad especially if your PS3 is your go to console. You may have an argument if you turn it on once every 6 months but other than that…

And for the speed of the PSN I think you guys are really having a problem if you are not exaggerating. I’m running my PS3 wired and most of the time I will download 1GB games in less than 30 minutes if not 15. Not saying it’s perfect speed, but it never took me 5 hours to download a game.

@geirr: IF you're not having ANY fun at level 6 then I dunno maybe it's quits time. Try making some radically different alts - a mesmer if you're a fighters and vice versa. Possibly go visit a different starting area.

I haven't heard this bit yet, but I can definitely confirm that PSN is slow as molasses for me.

I have my PS3 connected wirelessly, which is not optimal, of course, but I also have my phone, tablet, laptop, XBox, and several other devices connected wirelessly, and none of them have the connection issues that my PS3 have. I can download 1-2 GB demos and such from XBox Live in under an hour (even when it's slower than usual), while only last week, I had to leave my PS3 running all night to download the Sleeping Dogs demo.

I stream Netflix on my 360 all the time, and rarely does my connection run slow enough to drop out of HD/full resolution. But if I try to use my PS3 to watch Netflix, the signal is constantly fluctuating in and out of HD, and usually during the course of a single movie, it will pause to rebuffer several times.

I've never looked into the problem too deeply because most of what I use the PS3 for I can easily use my 360 instead, but for PS3 exclusives, or for firmware updates, it's consistently a nightmare.

What are you guys talking about with the Darksiders 2 side mission comments? That there should be more incentive for doing the side quests.... You get some of the best loot in the game from doing the side quests in the game.

Haha yeah, I've tried all the starter areas and races and classes.. I tend to just open all the skills with the various weapons and weapon combos for curiosity's sake and then get bored when I have them all. I've had some fun running my Asura through the Charr starter zone though. Asura guardian with a scepter and a torch is an interesting combo.

Yeah, it's too bad, with The Walking Dead being so story-driven that he would dump all of that information no problem, especially with all of the parts not being out yet. Disappointing, but oh well.

Not to mention that hes going to be playing it for the next few months and maybe never finish it anyway, since for some reason he decided to play on hard. Why does he do that? Why?

My PS3 downloads patches and games quick. I have it hooked up to ethernet though.

I played SWTOR in a raiding guild for six months and if you asked me right now to name all of the races you can play, I probably couldn't off the top of my head.

But that's irrelevant. He doesn't need to be an expert in a game to know if it really grabs his interest. All of the GW2 players going apeshit about everything Jeff has said about that game, really need to fucking chill.

This kind of thinking absolutely enrages me!! I havnt watched any of those USA shows to have an opinion. But generaly speaking YES!!!! Some televisions shows are simply BAD. It's not an issue of "i think this show is poorly made." No, some shows are simply objectively BAD, like According to Jim or the Big Bang Theory of the Las Vegas or any number of other ones. Just because you like something, that does not mean it is good. I like many many shows and movies that I know are bad, but I don't care cause I enjoy them. I can enjoy something that is a piece of crap, that doesn't mean its not a piece of crap.

Just because you like something doesn't mean its good. And if someone says that a show that you like is really crappy, they are probably right.
