@Mars:  Dude, that sucks.  You Aussies really get screwed over with the gaming stuff, what with the messed up rating, rampant delays, laggy connections I always hear about.  At least you get nice beaches.

most "high profile" games are between $100 -$120AU.
I read an interview with someone about why games are so expensive here and he
basically said "because they'll pay for it".

I think they enjoy watching people freak out about if the bombcast is going to up or not and why it's so late. I bet they would have said something if there was going to be no bombcast today. Or not I don't know.
