I love playing games on my TV. And it's not about the visuals, for me it's about the 5.1 audio I can hear with my home theatre system and the non-existent load times. If you play PC games a lot it's painful to go back to console load times.

Where did you hear that regular Wiimotes (sans MotionPlus) would not be compatible with Wii U games? The latest Game Informer says that it will be on a game by game basis.

@Brad You've probably already discovered this, but the Borderlands 2 launcher on PC is indeed totally controllable with a gamepad in Big Picture mode--very nice touch by either Valve or Gearbox there, if I do say so myself. And as someone with a setup remarkably similar to your own, a cheapo $10 wireless mouse from Amazon makes everything about PC on TV easier, although I'm sure that isn't exactly news to you or anything, but just a thought.

Someone ought to tell Jeff that VSync caps the framerate. By definition. So having it "uncapped, with VSync" is gibberish.

The QL and the podcast where probably recorded on the same day and also he said "The first KS game to be released." Paying attention to what people say is cool.

FTL isn't the first game funded by Kickstarter to come out. Diamond Trust of London was shipped to supporters first. To be fair to FTL, though, Diamond Trust was already complete before the Kickstart, and the funding was simply to purchase and ship the cartridges.

My favorite pet in the original Torchlight was the lynx. I'm so bummed out that it's not in the sequel.

I was a huge Killer Instinct fan, and still have fun with Killer Instinct Gold on the N64. I'd love a Killer Instinct that doesn't look as fuzzy as N64 games do, but I think the ship has sailed on a KI3.

I feel like the GB crew wants me to feel bad for enjoying Killer Instinct. But I don't. I guess I'm "out of my mind"? I've never been good at fighting games, and neither are any of the people I play with. We were able to have plenty of fun with games like KI. It wasn't terribly deep, but it played fine for scrubs like us, and the presentation was great.

I am waiting for the new Bombcast as well. I am not eating any crackers though. I have a Coca-Cola. It is an American brand of soda pop beverage we have in the U.S.
