Indeed. Long lost are the heady days of staying up until 10pm on a Tuesday trying to peruse Ryan's twitter feed wondering when the bastard was going to post the bombcast. Those were the days. =(

I'm super psyched to be able to listen to the Bombcast on Tuesday in my area as opposed to Wednesday morning!

Finally GB posts a podcast on tuesday. Years and years of being lied to and getting them on wednesday.

Dang, I only noticed this when it actually WAS Tuesday. I mean, there are still some time zones floating out there in the Pacific, but it is totally impractical to get there in order to be able listen to this on Monday. :(

At this point, it gets mentioned more in the bombcast than it actually gets played.

"Monthly DotA" =/= "Daily DotA".

Bunch of erroneous info on GTA:O.

You spawn back into the same group of players after missions unless you hit start and go to "find new session."

You get missions that are far more complex and interesting including four man plane heists. Two can go in the plane, two must clear the runway.

Miscellany missions get far more interesting. One team races up a small mountain while another has attack choppers to stop you. Another has two teams of jet fighters going against each other. A third is jets vs. tanks.

Mayhaps the bombers are too jaded and bored of games to dig deep enough for this?

Whaaaaaat it's like 4am over here! Not gonna lie I'm glad this went up because I can't fucking sleep lol. Now I got something to listen to. :p

I dunno, you guys. I think GTA5 is pretty good.

HOLY CRAP IT REALLY IS TUESDAY!

In all honesty Rockstar has made it pretty difficult to get to all that "fun" stuff. I'm not even talking about connectivity issues. So many different elements are not explained at all or briefly skimmed over by their horrible little black box tutorials that they're doing a complete disservice to this complex world they've crafted. They front load the early levels with completely mundane missions types when there is no real reason to do so. The good missions seem to be randomized as well, where you can't even predict when you get the fun ones - you can call your contacts up for a mission and you get a random grab bag. I'm level 19 and I still haven't seen the cool stuff you're talking about. Each time I've gone on a mission from a particular quest giver like Ron or Gerard, Lester etc it's something pretty boring like go pick up a package or a survival map.

Another big issue, and this is a pretty universal truth but it rings more true in GTA:O than other multiplayer games, is that you really need friends to enjoy this mode. Maybe Jeff is jumping in solo as he is often want of doing, and grinding out those beginner fetch types by yourself or with random strangers can be a real snooze. When I get on with a single friend we have a ton of fun even when it's doing races for an hour straight, just the two of us mind you, because the matchmaking somehow never finds anyone to join. We were laughing our butts off doing a rally race which was basically a circle in an airport, just the two of us, using slow trucks.

In single player I understand why they don't front load the beginning with insane plane heists and whatnot, but there is no reason to pad out the early levels of the online with great stuff like stealing a car and bringing it back to a quest marker. I hate it when people talk about how busy these guys are, because I have a job too that doesn't revolve around playing videogames from 9-5 and sometimes it seems like I play more games in my off time than these guys do professionally - that said I can see how with the limited time they have, maybe grinding out boring entry level content can put them off from investing a whole lot of time into the game until the good missions roll around. Especially since GTA:O doesn't hint at any of that cooler stuff happening down the road.

That's super super super early. No complaints though!

Hey everybody it's Monday!

I don't know for sure but I know that media outlets have slowly been receiving certain new consoles to test and toy with for early previews.

Brad's complaints about GTAV are killing me. The driving couldn't be easier (meaning it's too easy) yet somehow he still managed to fuck it up? Poor Brad.

This is mind blowing early, damn. Now I can listen to it on the bus home from work, sweet !

Maybe stop playing GTA? All this whining, doesn't sound like you guys are enjoying it, just stop.

This is the first Bombcast I've seen released on a Tuesday, I think.

There are some of the best and most interesting bits of dialogue happening during some of those drives, that's one aspect where Rockstar clearly got much better. The driving dialogue in IV was not always super interesting but in V I found myself driving slowly just so I could listen all of it.

This super early bombcast seriously messes up with my week here at work. Now i have to find other stuff to listen to for later in the week.

Can anybody tell me where the GTA talk starts and ends? I haven't had the time to play it yet, and I'm trying to stay as clear from info/discussion as humanly possible. Thank you.
