Holy shit! A bombcast on Australian Tuesday!

GTAO missions get a lot better the higher you go, but heists are not in yet. Survival (what you guys call horde mode) begin at 15 and they are great, up to ten waves. If you just dig racing on a console game then the racing missions (screw sea races) provide a crapload of entertainment as well. You can even activate GTA racing for Mario Kart like powerups.

The problem with this is that the Rockstar cloud servers still forget characters, cars, money, things you do. I'm lucky to have reached and remained 32.

Living in Sweden I got all confused, is it Tuesday or Wednesday?

MOTHERFUCKING EARLYCAST! This is the first time I have listened to a Bombcast at work ON TUESDAY!

If you are reading this, you need to watch Zardoz. It should be required viewing in every school. It's a masterpiece in every sense of the word. A beautiful film and wonderful work of art. And I'm saying this without any irony whatsoever.

Earlycast makes the week seem longer... Hmm.

If GTAO is "bare minimum", GTA4 MP was a feature black hole that stretches so far back that it ceased to exist in people's memories.

I was obsessed with the stock market in gta. When the BAWSAQ market worked I bought stocks in two companies Pisswasser and hawk and little, My one stock shot up and now I have a 108 million dollar profit from selling. but its gone up a lot the past two days so Im just gonna wait until I can buy that golf course.

Early Bombcast! Hey everybody it's Tuesday!

I went to my parents has over the weekend to specifically look for some frosting to spoon in my mouth. So yes I do thst frequently.

Also that mission where you steal the helicopter was super easy. At first I thought the same as Brad, that you had to dodge missiles, but I kept getting destroyed. I got in the helicopter, got out so that the military chopper took off. Then I sniped the pilot and got back in the chopper no problems at all.

How can this be???

Hey everybody, it's European Tuuuuesday!

I feel like everything I've heard GB say about GTA 5 has been negative and yet it got a 5 star rating.

Even better, the driving is assisted in the game so it nudges you in the right directions, if he was on about helicopters (particularly the Buzzard) on a low flight-skill character I would understand because that wobble makes it one of my least favourite helicopters.

Meanwhile in multiplayer I've almost maxed out flying with helicopters.. level 32, great game, opens up nicely starting at 15 in my opinion, just no heists and an official acknowledgement of characters etc being lost clouding it now.

Sometimes it's better than the best times of APB.

This is possibly the earliest Bombcast in history.

How dare Vinny try to talk about video games in this video game podcast.

Jeff should really take that time off he's been talking about. He sounds bored and jaded as fuck, and when he is grumpy like this then the whole site suffers for it.

We get to hear more talk about Dota2? "Yay". I like how a lot of times we hear "OK, we've talked enough about x game but with DOTA2 we're still talking about it.

I disagree with all of Brad's complaints.

I didn't have those problems. Thoroughly enjoyed GTA 5.

thats because in the video game industry youll get shunned if you give a GTA game anything less than 5 stars or a 10/10

I personally think that GTA5 is miles ahead of SR4.

yea the complaints on the driving i really cant understand, the driving is super easy,

it definitely feels like that, but it isn't the truth i get what your saying though,, its just they excessively harp on the negative while the positive gets like a second in the discussion, so the negative stick out a lot more in the discussion..

Its the sour circle jerk of the internet. If they talked about it positively every week for 3 months. People would start to complain just like they do when Dota is mentioned.

its a tough goddamm balancing act,

but id say in relation to games talk on the bombcast, its been leaning where the negative overshadows the positive though, but thats cause to me brad loves to excessively harp on the negative though.

but 8-4, the other podcast they have on here, balances the negative and positive discussion exceptionally well, so its not impossible.

It boggles my mind that anyone plays GTA V with the auto lock on...the free-aim works perfectly fine and honestly makes the game much more fun. I did the same with Red Dead and had much more fun. But then again I'm the kind of guy who is going to play GTA for 100+ hours before I finish the story, so each their own I guess.

Doesn't seem like any of them think it's a bad game, but especially Brad seems bored of driving from A to B in the open world genre. I think that's fair enough, even though I don't agree.

Yeah I'm not one to say "you're playing it wrong" but it seems like the Giant Bomb staff writes off more and more games because of difficulty. This is even harder to swallow when I've played these exact same missions (knowing that I'm not the best gamer in the world) and found them incredibly easy. I have yet to hit anything particularly challenging in GTAV.

From here on in I'm going to interpret "too difficult" or "annoying" as a lack of patience and/or desire to play on their part.

Here's a link to the Battlefield 4 upgrade info Vinny was talking about. To go from 360 to Xbox One you need to trade in the game and add $10. Also, it only works at certain retailers. To go from PS3 to PS4 you simply use a unique download code packaged with the PS3 copy + $10 and you get the PS4 version as a download. Maybe I am in the minority but I really had no idea how different these approaches were.

@alistercat: Same here, I understand his complaint about stealing the military helicopter, but I still had fun doing it and it didnt bother me.

what the hell ? What's the reasoning behind this decision ?

they've had quite a few positive things to say about the story, and they seem to find Trevor's character interesting if not exactly the most likeable. but yeah, seems like the 5 star should've gone to Saint's Row 4 if they were being perfectly honest with themselves. they all seemed to adore that game.
