The oxygen thing in Borderlands sounds way more awful than it actually is in action. Every enemy drops air and there are vents every 5 feet and safe zones and buildings. I cannot imagine even coming close to running out or feeling remotely rushed.

That Tiny Tina DLC is pretty fucking awesome.

I love the low gravity in The Pre-Sequel. It makes it different. I like different. And it is basically impossible to die from running out of O2. Health goes down really slowly from that. It is mainly an annoyance because it messes up your vision. I also like the Tina character and don't hate Jack. It is strange because Jeff is the person I agree the most with for someone I disagree the most with.

@liquidprince: I bet oxygen was at one point much more scarce, and Gearbox found out it wasn't fun so more and more oxygen sources and drops were added until they arrived at the state the game is in today.

That's a good question. The same gauge powers your extra mobility and slam attacks in low gravity but they could have easily just used a different resource for that.

I suspect that they came to the realization too late that huge Borderlands zones don't mesh with heavily limited resources and had to rapidly course correct from there.

Played a bit, agree about the jumping and oxygen. While I've never ran out and it's so easy to resupply that I can't envision a situation where it happens, it still is annoying. I'm not sure on the jumping yet. But I like the world and unlike Jeff quite liked the writing of 2 and so far this is just as good. As an Aussie, I love that the moon is basically just Space Australia.
