Playing DW7 at the moment, the story mode is pretty cool.

looks like i missed my window to see Spring Breakers on Netflix. I seem to remember it being available for a while but it looked painful.

To be fair I have no firsthand experience with the Xbox One, but based on the videos I have seen of both the games and the UI, it seems like people are being awfully generous to it.

The more popular streamers on twitch are either pretty likeable/funny (to different groups of people) or skilled (or both). A random dude mumbling into a mic while playing CoD will, most likely, not get a lot of viewers and I get why you don't "get" that aspect.

But some streams are not that different from a GB liveshow. There's plenty of streams playing a variety of games for different reasons.

Chie's new voice is fine with me. I got used to it and the voice actor did a very good job. But since when I first played P4 and got to love Chie she had her old voice I'm just more attached to that one..

Spring Breakers sounds like the first minute for Far Cry 3 made into a full movie.

@devitiffany: It is, and believe it or not that's not fun or interesting for an hour and a half.

The thing with Playroom was specifically that it wasn't just you watching someone playing a game, though - the thing that made it take off was that someone set up a fucking live call-in show, and apparently managed to get some pretty damn interesting callers. If you're old enough to remember talk radio, I'd think you should be pretty excited that PS4 brought do-it-yourself live broadcast talk radio to the common livingroom. Of course it got shut down, but that's pretty damn cool to me. I mean, sure, people have been able to build their own radio transmitters and broadcast pirate radio for nearly a century, and online radio has been a thing for the past 20 years or so, but this required no special technical knowledge, and could be done with just a few button presses on the PS4.

Hey that Brad can GTFO! He needs to go back and listen to the original voice actress again. And he doesn't like football (wait was that it, I never heard that one actually).

@2headedninja: eh, if a console centric developer (which is what they are now) has no interest in bringing their title to the PC I don't really care. I PC game and console game and so does Brad. Maybe Bungie wants to revolutionize something else on the console like they did shooters?

I simply have my inputs memorized on my receiver which acts as my video pass-through box to my television. My PC goes to tv direct because of the Vga required input on the tv, but the sound still goes to the receiver via optical. So on the tv I manually shift between Pc and Everything else (using one remote), and manually shift on the receiver side per input using the rec. remote. I'm being a dinosaur, but memory mostly serves me well and it works for me in a way I understand.

This. I can't stand the way the UI looks. I also don't like Windows 8's Metro system AT ALL, so that probably doesn't help any.

The PP-farming hijinx swelled my heart with pride. Actual opportunities to BE clever instead of FEEL clever in games is always a positive.
