Listening to this while ploughing through my final few pre-GotY essentials (both so I can play them to write up my own list and awards, and also to avoid hitting any spoilers I care about during the deliberation casts).

I would imagine that students would get a pass, because if they're just eating ramen they're probably also drinking energy drinks, which contain excesses of quite a few core vitamins. Also, I had a pretty good diet at uni, but pretty much all my friends who had shitty diets were aware of it and took multivitamins to help compensate.

Hmmm... funny as they are, I feel the new ads demand a browser-based player that can recognize and scrub ads for Premium members. When I buy no ads, I buy no ads, not no-most-ads-but-some-ads-sometimes-unless-you-go-through-some-hoops.

No biggie, but when your engineers wake up from their Gamespot reboot hangover maybe you can nudge them that way? Blink once if you agree.

What's wrong with an ad at the beginning of the podcast? At least the Bombcrew gives it some personality with them doing it themselves. The Bombcrew needs to eat and buy TP to wipe their asses too you know!

Yeah I totally don't even download the Premium version. I love hearing ads from these guys. Which is nuts. I pay to get rid of ads (really, I'd pay even if they still showed ads on the website, since it's to support the guys instead of getting rid of them), and prefer the ads!

That being said.. uh.. the pneumatic tube thing, @maniacmaysin, it was the poop + tube thing that was discussed last time.

There's always a premium version of the podcast. Like so.

@rorie: Yes, it's just that I find it weird that when I'm logged in I don't have to do anything to avoid ads EXCEPT for the Bombcast. That's the one instance where clicking on the main page link somehow doesn't play the ad-free version of the content.

So it's not a massive complaint or anything, it's a nitpick. But it does get to me.

Every check is verified by a human (same day, not instant), FYI. Even if the ATM reads it automatically. At the bank I used to work for, anyway.

I'm not sure what it says about myself or this podcast that I feel like I've definitely heard these guys talk about putting poop into pneumatic tubes before.
