Well this is a neat surprise. Kamiya does some damn good work.

Didn't the developer of wonderful 101, platinum games, yell at games journalists for the review score of their game.

All I remember reading about that was people asking Kamiya on twitter about reviewers complaining about how difficult the game was and asking how that made him feel, he simply replied with: "Honor".

Haha, I love that he corrected the translator on the last answer, that it wasn't "Famitsu" but "Famimaga." No surprise that the best developer on the planet is passionate about the specifics.

P* are some of the few developers left that still judge their own output by its quality and playability. It is no surprise.

I love Kamiya and all and I want to hear what he has to say, but how the hell am I supposed to understand this if I don't speak Japanese?

Kamiya blocked me on twitter just because I asked if I could gently caress his thigh. Now I have no interest in what he has to say. It's better to have loved and lost? Bullshit. My heart still hasn't healed and it never will.

Why? He acts like an asshole on Twitter all the time. Glad he got called/asked on it.

The vast majority of his responses are perfectly reasonable and polite, he will only be an asshole to you if you ask him the same question he's gotten a million times or just tweet something stupid.

Pet peeve how Patrick pronounces Kamiya.

Kamiya is maaaaaaaaybe my favorite developer. Like, Swery and Suda are rad but Kamiya makes games that are actually good.

Even if that was the case, which it's not, it's not a reason to act that way. If he's annoyed with questions maybe, I dunno, IGNORE them? Not hard.

Too bad...

One of the best around, and Okami is probably my favorite game. It's always nice to hear from him and see where he's going.

A good translator too, correction at the end notwithstanding.
