I'm surprised he didn't get stuck on Manus..? Had to beat him to be fighting the dragon. Guess I'll have to watch.

Vinny mentioned wanting to be Artorias, someone should tell him how to buy his armor.

I'm still genuinely shocked that he was able to kill Kalameet after only a few attempts.

Then again, my first time trying it was in NG+ and basically every boss was a nightmare with my build. I ended up killing him in like NG++. After chopping his tail off. Alone. That was the most obnoxious thing I've done in this game.

I actually didn't like the DLC much. Didn't love most of the enemies or areas. Felt a little to samey to some other areas in the game, and those bloatheaded sorcerers are freaking obnoxious. It's got some cool stuff in there, but it didn't feel like it justified the price.

Patrick really needs to chill out. Ten minutes in and I can hardly stand it.

Actually you don't have to. You only have to complete Artorias to be able to take on the dragon.

only thing that grated me was when he yells near the end, just his voice is annoying. and then him throwing a fit about game genres.

but other than that he was fine. *shrug*

I missed pretty much everything, but was lucky enough to tune in just for this.

Quality soulsing right there. I'm also glad Patrick was here for this, because I've missed him.

Lotta love for Patrick but dude does not mesh well with Dark Souls. Let alone coming in for part 8. There's an arch to this feature. Take it easy and enjoy Vinnys antics.

I do get peeved when people talk about those people. Every time rogue-like is mentioned. It feels like its been fucking years, and every time someone utters the genre we have to have a 5 minute discussion on it

I totally didn't realise people have had trouble fighting Manus, as I killed him my first try with little issue. A bit like Vinny's assault on the four kings made them look easier than they actually are. I also didn't realise you can summon Sif to fight with you to avenge his fallen master, which I hope Vinny does.

I'm looking to the next Chapter in this.

Also, I thought Vinny said "Aha! Is this our chance?" but wasn't sure if he really did or if it was my brain telling me to finish up that playthrough of golden.

Artorias starts with a crushed arm.

He is also not evil. Just corrupted when he tried to fight the Abyss and choosing to save his wolf Sif.

There are 2 places where you use the light to reveal a hidden passage.

Also how is Ian arguing for ME1 being a boring RPG when the number of different and interesting builds you could do was quite extensive, as well as gear combo's; ME2 is stripped down about 10 times in terms of it's RPG mechanics and had next to no loot.

Trying to get the tail is really the hardest part of the Kalameet fight for a solo melee character i think, because of the fast move set, once i managed to chop that off, the dragon itself really was no issue.
