I laughed so hard when Power within killed him, how they didn't even notice his health going down. So good. I really hoped that he'd have to fight Gwyn again.

Congratulations Vinny. I expected Gwyn would be a lot easier for this build. It was kind of a pain for me as a sorcerer mostly because I hadn't invested a lot in vitality. It only took 4 or 5 spell casts to beat him but he was one and two-shotting me most of the time. I had to angle him into getting caught on geometry just to stand a chance.

I chose the fire ending and it's indeed a disappointing one even if you have context to the story. Ultimately it comes across like a fairly generic all-story in the vain of Dragon's Dogma or Afro Samurai where the dude on top needs to be defeated, he is dethroned and replaced by you, and then the cycle repeats for someone to come and kill you. Meh. The art design makes this universe a lot more interesting than it actually is.

To be honest this was kind of boring for a final episode to this feature partially because of Dark Souls' underwhelming final sequence. It's a lot funnier when Vinny kills NPCs on a whim rather than Rorie and Ian egging him on to go on a murder spree. Thanks for the video duders. Looking forward to seeing what crazy features you guys come up with next.

Maybe it's time to start the Load Our Last (Demon's) Souls Part 01 as we wait for Dark Souls 2.

Congrats Vinny now if you want to platinum it just beat it 3 more times and you will be the Lord of our Last Souls!! :P I hope they do something similar with DSII.

Nitpicking, but whatever I'm bored. Gwen/Gwyn is short of Gwyndolin/Gwendolin there is nothing wrong with it.

Wow, that death after killing Gwyn. I was watching his health bar tick down the entire time, wondering when they'll finally realize he should probably heal (or end the game). I'm so glad they just didn't. XD

Don't be crazy. The game was never impenetrable. You also should know that the patch nerfed several things, it didn't just buff everything.

Either way, some people may have needed some farming before and they (probably) do not now, but that's pretty much it. Saying it's gone from 'super hard' to 'extremely easy' is crazy. I can still finish NG+ without leveling upon starting it, which is harder than the game was unpatched.

Also, how is Vinny 'obviously bad'? It's just a common misconception that Dark Souls is extremely difficult. You do not have to be some sort of master to finish the game when you are not doing a specific self-imposed run. Vinny is more than good enough to finish the game. He would have been able to do it in unpatched game or NG+. The game is just not that hard once you're experienced and know what to expect.

The crow is thought to be somehow related to Velka, the goddess of sin. She brings you, the undead, to Lordran to kill Gwyn for linking the first flame, which is thought to be the "First Sin."

One thing I've taken from this series is that from the lack of confidence Ian has in any answer he gives, no matter how simple the question, you could ask him his name and he'd take a couple minutes to get to the conclusion that his name is probably Ian, maybe.
