@danryckert Weekly reminder that the sneaking suit during the day is a bad idea. Either use desert camo in the day or use the sneaking suit at night

Just realized I don't think I ever swapped my loadout in any major way even 100+ hours in. I would just alternate my main weapons and that was it really.

Boy, Drew sure does love to do all his sneaking missions in broad daylight wearing all black on a light-coloured background... The question is "why?", though...

Does anybody have any idea why some Giant Bomb videos, when I'm watching in progressive mode, will glitch out REALLY bad when I first hit play and skip the first 1-4 minutes of the video? Occasionally the screen will go green and it will make a weird loud noise, and if I try to jump back at any point it skipped, it just jumps back ahead, always to the same point in the video. This only happens on longer videos and it only happens at the beginning.

I had the same reaction as Dan to the loadouts! However, I am only 35 hours in not 95...ugh

Seems like the 1 in Loadout 1 might be a clue.

When he was shooting the dude in the tower in third person it drove me nuts.

Look. As much as entertaining as it is to get a reaction out of Dan, and it really is, it's great to see such passion for a great game. It's easy to get shitty reactions on a bad game, but true passion, like what Dan shared at that moment, is priceless, the good kind of priceless.

Imagining what it looks like to see Snake looking through a pair of binoculars while strafe running through the mountains. Gotta look ridiculous.

If you hold RT when holding LT to aim grenades it will extend the throw to an overhand pitch. Drew doesn't know about this and someone should probably let him know...he uses grenades a lot.

heh... i didn't notice the Loadouts either and I've played about 80 hours.

I figured out there's loadouts right from the start and almost never really used it anyway, specially after I got the weapons I wanted for my playstyle. I usually just swap between sniper/launcher or sleep gun/stun smg when necessary.

What drives me crazy is how, in every single episode, in every single base Drew was in, he finds the room with the communications equipment and doesn't destroy it.

@danryckert The numbers in the development menu are not the number that can be developed. It is basically an "unread" counter. New items show up with a little blue dot on them indicating that the are new. When you move your cursor on to them that dot goes away and the total "unread" counter goes down.

Dan ask Vinny about flu shots and he will tell you a good story.

I work in a pharmacy and you're mostly right about the flu shot, @danryckert. The shot contains a dead sample of the flu virus which your body is tricked into thinking is live and therefore makes the antibodies. It can not give you the flu BUT it can make your arm slightly sore... The best thing to do is get the shot in which ever arm you use more (if you're right handed get it in your right arm, left handed left arm) because you'll work out any soreness quicker by using the arm.

Also, getting a flu shot every year is recommended because the virus mutates rapidly(sometimes even within one flu season) and a shot one year will not protect you the next year.

TLDR: The flu sucks and will probably be the end of humanity.

I remember last time Drew got a bunch of potential troublemakers.

The reason your fulton is only at 90% during a good chunk of this episode is because it was cloudy, it has nothing to do with the medical team. @danryckert @drewbert

173 hours, I never found the multiple loadouts.

Drew's box flailing moment was incredible, I had to rewind it several times to bask in the glory (and also to work out what combination of buttons he was pressing to even make that possible).

I had a number of really resigned groans when I discovered game options that are completely undocumented like 40+ hours in. I did at least know about loadouts though.

Same thing with me. I just switched to streaming.

I mean I am sure there is an instruction manual to this like every other game ... sigh...

Lol did Drew just say "taint"? Thats probably the dirtiest thing I've heard him say on a video or podcast.

Maybe I'm just crazy, but I feel like Drew should interrogate more. Some missions have become so much easier through interrogation, cause guys would just tell me exactly where everyone relevant to the mission is.

Edit: LOL how the hell did Drew slide so far when he dove out of the box around 1:39? And also, someone needs to make a gif of that glorious box fiasco. I was laughing so hard.

Drew has killed more people in every episode than I killed in the entire game...

Throwing people off of edges is so much fun. Whenever I'm on an FOB mission and they have really bad security team staff I throw them into the ocean instead of fultoning them.

If this makes me a bad person then I don't want to be good.

I can't wait until I'm "done" and can actually use some of those fancy guns. Yes, things often go wrong in my missions and I need to take the gloves off, but still.
