Story was a huge dissapointment for me. Just was expecting more "wow" moments I had in Uncharted 2.
 
However the multiplayer is amazing and even though I got bored of Call of Duty 4's multiplayer, this one seems very fresh and exciting.

One of the best video reviews Giant Bomb has ever done. Much like MW2 strikes a delicate balance between arcade and tactical shooters, so too does Giant Bomb manage to maintain a professional tone while still coming across as personable. Well done.

Can't wait for tomorrow.  I mean later today.

Can't get my fucking copy yet... And now Sainsbury's are sold out, I am pissed off...

Man my excitement was a little reserved with all the overhype and overconverage giving a bad taste in my mouth, but I'm getting pumped now. Boy that multiplayer looks fun. Too bad I'll have to wait until winter break since my parents didn't let me bring my xbox to college :(

I really hate that Metacritic lists this as a 100 score.

I actually really wanna play this, unexpectedly, i thought i could just let it slide for a few weeks but hell no.

So basically its the same as the last game but with prettier graphics and a predictable truckload of extra stuff?

Some of the additions in the multiplayer make the game...too game-y and silly, pushing it further away from the tactical shooter ideal.  Why not just put Mario and Sonic in there...and blue shell bonus for the worst player?  Actually, there is a blue shell equivalent...a homing RPG, for fucks sake.  Different strokes, and so on, but I really hope they don't do this to future BF releases, simply because of MW's broad appeal...

Meh, this honestly still doesn't get me really excited for the game. It looks like a neat improvement on their old formula to be sure, but when the main design philosophy for anything starts to lean in the direction of "dude, explosions!" I tend to lose my interest fairly fast. 

Meh. One game I'll never play I guess. I am not into the MP, and if I where I would definitely not buy it, as I would have bought it on PC. But only five hours SP? And it just seems like a normal shooter with some cinematic bits thrown in. I just cannot see why so many want this game.

Sounds good, but I have more than enough games to play already and I bet i'd be owned my people who played MW1 for hundreds of hours.

After watching the review, I kinda feel a bit better about it at points - mostly about the co-op. Still, the lack of dedicated servers is a shitbowl (I lost every single reason to upgrade my PC) and I feel Killzone 2 is better paced for me with the mode-mash-up. So sorry, MW2 - Uncharted 2 first, then Ratchet & Clank, then Borderlands and maybe MW2. Rented. Someday.

5 hours, that's kind of short. I was hoping that they'd make the single player longer this time after the shortness of cod4. Oh well, sounds like a rental.

I'm sure it's very well-crafted... but the "America F*** YEAH" attitude and the fact that this is still JUST ANOTHER MILITARY SHOOTER don't make me feel like i need to get this anytime soon

This game just killed my 360, E 74 message and i only got to play 1 hour... Took a day off work and stood in the rain for hours to get it.

I've had it since thursday, most fun I've ever had playing a game.
