We haven't had much John Drake on the site in a while. I miss him.

When Johnny V isn't available and you need a pinch hitter, you call John Drake.

I love that Dave Lang dressed down for his couch appearance.

No Johnny V is the real argument that E3 is on the decline.

Poor Johnny V couldn't risk his Nintendo dream job... but this was still pretty damn funny without him. He is greatly missed either way!

I like to imagine JV was watching the stream live, shouting at it, and getting aggressively intoxicated.

Samantha's JV story was absolutely incredible.

Mike Bilder seemed quite reserved in this but I think he should be proud because his Johnny V story was genuinely amazing. Dave seemed off for some reason, like slightly more aggro than usual. Not sure if maybe not having JV around affected him or if he was expecting Kessler to strike at any moment. Alex's segment booking was largely great but I think Adam and Dave have done better in a smaller group, and for the record everyone in this segment was absolutely worthy of being booked irregardless.

Fuck Dave Lang for making fun of Adam's big head, that's punching down bullshit.

@billcrystals: Like, it's amazing because it's both incredibly JV (at least Couch JV) to talk himself into a horribly embarrassing/potentially offensive scenario, but be completely honest/innocent/noharm intended about it.

I think I've reached my threshold on Boyes/Lang content. I could just not watch it but I like Sam and Drake. Shame Boyes and Lang had to be involved.

It's a shame that JV can't be there now that he's under the all-seeing eye of Nintendo, and they don't want a PR guy of theirs being drunk on camera, but I would do the same thing in his position.

Doesn't mean I'm not still gonna miss him, though.

The beach takes were really interesting to me- I grew up in Northern CA and the beaches there are trash, and the water is freezing. Then I moved to NC and the beaches there were awesome and the water was a lot warmer
