I'm gonna say the Xbox/PS2 era Bond games were amazing!!! Nightfire, From Russia With Love, and Everything or Nothing were awesome.

Yeah Jeff is misremembering 007 games quite badly, I'd say there are as many third person bond games as there are first person bond games.

I can tell just from looking at the run time that this is going to be a goddamn train wreck. I can't wait.

I wouldn't really call setting off an EMP, blowing billions of dollars in Harrier jets, and shooting dozens of dudes, infiltrating.

This looks baaaad, almost as bad as the Goldeneye remake. JUST DO EVERYTHING OR NOTHING 2 GODAMMNIT!!!

007 games have been a major let down..the last good one was golden eye....

Erm...couldn't someone who has have done the QL, then? Or maybe more prep could've been done? A huge part of the game clearly hinges on that, so...

From Russia With Love was poop imo with for instance some extremely repetitive boat shooting sequences. I really liked Nightfire and Everything or Nothing like Jeff mentioned though. Especially the "bond moves" thing they had in them.

It kind of sucks when a series is connected to an IP like this since the chance of seeing re releases of previous games small (this being a remake). The best thing would have been a new game with a story not based on any of the movies though, like Everything or Nothing and Nightfire. Although not with gameplay like this.

This is really weird.

I can't get the videos to work lately. It's just the advertisement and then blank, black screen. Sometimes videos on main page work better, sometimes I just have to try million times. Cleared cache and stuff, nothing works :(.

At this point why, might as well call it COD: Bond edition 2012

Watch the quicklook. This game has almost nothing to do with the Bond movies.

At least in Goldeneye for N64 you could destroy the computers. Clearly superior.

You just said that Bond games suck and the last good one was Goldeneye, which, except Legends, is the latest Bond game. Unless you're talking about the original Goldeney, which is just crazy since there have been plenty of great Bond games since then, like Nightfire or Everything or Nothing.

And I didn't say anything about Sonic games.

There was spy stuff in Bloodstone, but for the most part there was an insane amount of murdering dudes. Jeff should remember that this wasn't an FPS, he reviewed it.

On the other hand, Bloodstone came out and Jeff shits on it hard during the QL even though the game isn't that bad. That game went back to the 3rd person style games with great chase sequences, just like Everything or Nothing.

Most surprising thing about this QL?

That Jeff stuck with it for 80 minutes. I think the proper impression was across by the 20 minute mark...

So he falls in the water and wakes up in a Call of Duty fever dream.

Actually had a great time watching this thanks to Jeff and Vinny's commentary.

If the stealth and interactive components from Goldeneye 007 (which was fantastic on Wii) are still in and well-implemented, it's probably a super-fun game when coupled with the presentation.

But even I'll admit that the graphics are a little...early 360, and has some PS2 era gameplay. Legends probably won't set Metacritic on fire.

You can say James of Duty: Modern Bondfare and it wouldn't be a joke, let alone anything funny. This game is just depressing, and showing what a lot of the industry thinks of the consumers, and they're not wrong about the idea of consumers being tasteless spastics with difficulties holding onto their money.

So why don't we just call every FPS with ironsights Call of Duty then? If FPS with ironsights is now for some reason exclusive to Call of Duty and nothing else can do it why even bother with any FPSs?

@simkas: Dude come on. This is not a James Bond game by any standards. There are more gun attachments than actual gadgets.

That was a really funny quick look. The game doesn't look well made, but I could probably find some fun in it. Also, I hate snap targeting.
