So 40 dollars for 3 games that cost a total of like 5 dollars tops? Sounds like a deal to me. I mean I understand it sucks if you don't have a phone and wanna play these games, but man that is so much money for these.

Vinny is my favorite season. The reason that this is a full retail release is that their target demographic doesn't know what XBLA is.

Vinny yelling commands at Kinect made the existence of this product completely justified.

...I especially love how it essentially pops up an achievement notice for "congratulations! You got the Kinect to react to a command!" And Ryan is correct; it's like two button presses away but 30 seconds of Kinect-yelling-at. But Vinny was doing it so it was funny.

Vinny is my favourite.

I feel like I am the only person in the world who doesn't like Angry Birds.

The loss of the Angry Birds franchise exclusivity is really going to hurt Roku's chances in the console race.

Also, Angry Birds is so incredibly fucking boring.

I think it's charming that the people who created Angry Birds think their creation is in anyway culturally relevant, and not just an overwhelmingly popular assortment of lights and sounds. No-one actually cares about the Angry Birds. It's a media construct, not a human achievement. When I hear about stuff like "well let's make a cartoon series!" all I can think is that these people have honestly deluded themselves into thinking their game is more than just a physics engine held up by rudimentary puzzles and only mildly endearing designs. World of Goo had better aesthetic sensibility than Angry Birds.

*Using voice command* Kinect, release more games so giantbomb can make more hilarious quick looks.

Forty US dollars. Boxed physical copy. "Trilogy" that actually isn't the trilogy.

If they had just put this up on xbla for a fiver or something... what kind of moron came up with... no, no, nevermind.

I just looked up these games on google play. All 3 are free.

Never quite understood the popularity of Angry Birds, got bored of it after about five minutes.

I think Angry Birds is pretty boring but I totally understand why it exists and why people like it. I think the market's there for this to be a $15 downloadable game, but $40 at retail is insane.

The voice stuff was pretty great.

Regular old angry birds has actually been on the PS3 for a LONG time as a mini, mr. Ryan Davis.

Shame it's got so much Kinect in it when I suspect it would actually be unplayable on Kinect, from what I've seen of the later levels and what the game forces you to do with certain abilities to get the best score. There's no way you could nail that kind of precision and timing by flailing your arms around - and this on top of a game that already gets critique for being unpredictable and inconsistent because of the physics engine. Doesn't bode well.

This Kinect functionality is just to have something "fun" for the kids to wave their hands at and for the sake of being listed on that relatively small Kinect selection of games.

I like Angry Birds as a time waster. My 5 year old on the other hand avidly loves it. He actually gave me hell in Best Buy wanting this game and I totally get now why they are selling this. Christmas is coming and kids don't know any better and parents will shell out $40 to put something under the tree.

Heck yeah! I loved that game and its sequel. I find that series to be way more fun than these Angry Birds games that the kids are into, even though I suppose they are kind of similar. I guess the levels & objectives in Boom Blox are just far more varied, and the physics engine seems to impose less randomness on the proceedings. Plus, the multiplayer stuff is fun.

Wow, I guess I am weird because I am huge into these games.

at one point I had every possible star/egg/feather/etc in all three of these games. (I was 100% for the non-sandbox levels in bad pigges before the last update). These games are fun puzzlers. there are hours of levels. I actually think space is pretty bad/boring compared to this "trilogy". on the iPad (better comparison than a 3.5in phone) these are about $5 each plus $1 for the mighty eagle that adds a new play mode as well as a level skip. that is $18 for a tablet. $40 is probably a bit much but not as insane as it seems.

They didn't make enough money from their smartphone sales, those greedy fucks, they have to try to shove it down people's throats for anther fourty bucks?! Suckers of Satan's &$%! each and everyone of them.

Appreciate the 'fireball' Kinect voice callback.

OMG Ryan and Vinny just made a "The Larry Sanders Show" reference and I'm the only one who gets it or even cares. :(
